Hey in your video here you admit we can have unsanctioned holidays and feasts. You bring up Christmas and Easter being as they had pagan origins. I know this is an old video but I need to ask and discuss. Church tradition says Christmas was invented to take the place of Saturnalia, the over week long feast in honor to a false god Saturn, culminating on December 25. I don’t deny that. The Church decided to make Christmas culminating on December 25 as a celebration of someone worthy of celebrating. I get we don’t need to worship Saturn but how is modern Christmas a celebration of Saturn? The tree comes from who knows honestly. But the tree is not an object of worship and can be adopted to represent the tree of life. My point is how is it different than celebrating July 4th other than it’s a date that once upon a time was used for pagan worship? Honestly looking for dialogue on the topic.

Today while we still have the opportunity to celebrate Christ in Christmas, and to tell one of the most glorious stories ever told, let us do so with humble hearts, and joy knowing that the privilege to celebrate may not last long.
