I've got a feeling JJ might not even make it through the year. Once the Lakers start struggling to be in playoff contention, LeGM won't be happy & he'll look for a scapegoat to blame to absolve him of responsibility. So JJ could be pushed aside for one of those experienced assistant coaches they hired
@PCGamer13HD26 күн бұрын
anyone that says LeGM clearly doesn't pay attention to what the Lakers do lol. they'd have Kyrie, Ty Lue, and probably Derozan if they actually did what he wanted them to do lmfao
@PCGamer13HD26 күн бұрын
also why wasn't Ham fired at any point last season when it was evident LeBron was fed up with him prior to the halfway point? "LeGM" would of had him fired even earlier since the players knew he was an awful coach

“Detroit is a better job than the Lakers” is an insane take. Does Dan know that front office is more dysfunctional than the lakers
@Vic-Vega26 күн бұрын
That's arguable.

He'll handle the criticism the same way he handled the criticism of modern day players, by disingenuously twisting numbers to spin a false narrative like he's a business analyst for a soulless corporation.

If you coach the Lakers and LeBron or his son aren't winning right away or even playing well, you have just become the Steve Bartman for the franchise. I don't think LeBron or Anthony Davis have enough in the tank to make any type of serious run this year.

Not even Phil Jackson could save these Lakers. They'll be lucky to make the play-in gonna be a wild ride for JJ good chance he'll get chewed up and spat out

I mean I believe jj attitude going to rub players the wrong way I think he the first player that retired and got a head coaching job maybe 3 years out the league... so the players going to look at him like he still a player and not a coach ijs one of them players mite try him when he try to talk crazy ....
@SomeChink26 күн бұрын
Jason Kidd got a head coaching job basically as soon as he retired from playing Difference being Kidd had way more accolades as a player

Wrong, J Kidd got a coaching gig, basically before he retired.

JJ will be paid handsomely to go down with the ship. The Lakers have no great assets, an old Lebron, his son, and a broken AD. JJ will be paid well to keep his hands on the wheel right now. But the beauty days are over.
