How Will Thrones Be Released In Habbo Origins?

The Throne is the most famous item in Habbo History. Players are eagerly awaiting news regarding the Throne Release in Habbo Origins. Will it be released through the catalogue, as a bundle reward, or reserved exclusively for competitions?
The Habbo Throne could very well be too good of an opportunity for Sulake to not cash in on. Whilst it is possible that Thrones will retain a 'super rare' competition only status, the more likely scenario is that players will be able to obtain it in some way or another in the future. Origins has been out for less than a month and they have cashed in like crazy on just a few people's nostalgia for the game. Simply the rate at which they go through rares now is super worrying and cash grabby as hell.

I think they need some other more exclusive way to release rares. Competition, flash sale, something. Just the usual rotation of a rare every week is gonna get old fast

Origins will be dead before thrones drop sadly. Sulake still hasn't convinced me that they're doing anything but a cash grab yet. I wanted this to be the OSRS of habbo, classic with more "classic" esque features, not a copy paste of the original..

This is the clearest cash grab I have ever seen. By the end of summer there will be less than couple hundred people playing this "game" and the item price crash will surely follow.

I literally traded all my furni to rares, and then swapped all of it to OSRS GP, someone was willing to do that. I had my nostalgia moment and then i realised it's a quick cashgrab because the modern habbo's are dead aswell, It will indeed be dead very soon.

Easy.. The same way ione gifts.. on the anniversary of ione's birthday on the second year of origins they should be released. just like the second year of habbo on ione's bday they got released. People having multiple accounts is the tough one, though since every account they made will get one of three rares.. i guess the way they could solve this is give you a 80% chance of just getting a gift of common furni as a gift.. then lower percentage tier for samovar, lower for holopod and even lower for throne, so if you got multiple accounts, it still wont gurantee you'll get one of these three.

I think that the Egg is a tester as to how the throne will perform. Think they will stick to 50c but the egg is the litmus test as to of they are going to make sales

awesome video sterlin! I agree it's going to be quite a complimented problem to bring out thrones. Because back in the day the economy was HC sofas for most items and then you had 'ultra rares' that were valued in thrones. So if a throne was worth 25HC sofas then a ultra rare worth 50 thrones would be 1250 HC sofas in value. Your idea of it being released behind a locked purchase through the 12 month premier might be solid. It is indeed the only way to get majestics and things as well but then again some of the rares from that package aren't valued so much as it is. So would thrones coming out in that package end up tanking majestics and the other current high valued HC items? Possibly. I think them just releasing thrones ot everyone online like they did before to celebrate a great event or a competition will be the best options.

Make them a limited time purchase, and also make them a once only purchase for Habbo accounts that are relatively old. Every old Habbo gets an opportunity to buy only 1 at whatever price. This way it will also prevent people from stacking them with alts, which will help them maintain their rarity.

Sulake should host one competition a year, You'd have to be a HC to enter or perhaps a new badge which you can buy similar to HC club which'll allow you to enter so Sulake get their money, We get entry to win a super and within that, one of the top 3 prizes should be a Throne. Keeps the demand high, Sulake in pocket and whoever wins, happy. just imo.

they should do them in events. so even non spender noobie type players could get them if their luck permits. it will still give people something to be excited about long term, and keep people going without absolute proof the game is a quick cash-grab.
