I reposted this here. ---> Tall Women die more often alone, Tall Women have fewer children or more often no children, Tall Women have fewer relationships with Men, Tall Women have less Sex, Tall Women are more depressed, all this because a Tall Woman is waiting for a Tall Man; but Tall Men want Short Women not Tall Women. So, Tall Women are themselves their bane of their existence. Now...this next sentence is hard as I forget what this is called, but the crank/angle in a Woman's neck is important, at a certain age this is the angle She had to tilt her head up to look at her Father, maybe when She was 4-5 years old. As an adult; this is what She instinctively is looking for, it usually tends then to be a 6'2"-5" Man. So, in a World where all this is true, Tall Women pass on Men shorter than them; and without knowing; they die a little each time.

I'm 5'7". I was rejected by a woman shorter than me specifically because I wasn't over 6' tall. But I've also been pursued by women taller than me. And most of my relationships were with women around my height. Based on my experience, it just depends on the woman. I never thought a 5'11" female high jumper would be interested in me, but she was. And I never thought a woman shorter than me would reject me over my height, but she did. My advice is to take care of yourself, be fit, and present yourself well. There's nothing you can do about your height so don't even give it a second thought. The right ones will like you and the wrong ones won't.

It's probably not a direct prejudice but a vicious or virtuous cycle. The child that grows up tall gets rewarded, encouraged, and has advantages for opportunities which leads to further opportunities and advantages. The opposite being true for exceptionally short people. This is a systemic part of the culture. This has lead to a strong correlation that height greatly predicts the winner of presidential races. Which has led some candidates, possibly Desantis, to wear lifts and special shoes.

It's similar to how we all prefer women with say, a more generous posterior or bust, or a beautiful face, but plenty of us would be willing to date a thinner girl, or even a girl who's pretty but isn't stunning (I can't tell you how many times I've found a girl beautiful who would not make the cut for a modeling gig, but I still found her very pretty; they're not ugly, just not stunning - you know the phenomenon I'm talking about brother,), if she had a lot of other qualities we valued, and it happens every day. It's the same for women in my experience. They don't value the same things we do mind you, but they're willing to make a trade off for other qualities they want. Build yourself up in those areas, make yourself valuable, and height won't prevent you from finding someone to share your life with, not working on those other factors will. Just look around and tell me with a straight face that shorter than average men can't be with great women, and that all women only get romantically involved with 6 foot rich guys. Exactly.

No kidding, I’ve actually heared in IRL from some, one of them being a particularly beautiful woman who was herself around 5’9 / 5’10 who told that she preferred the proportions of men being on the shorter spectrum - but yeah, those of course are the minority - but then you also have to consider, when women say tall, we often overestimate what they are looking for in real life (and broad shoulder and other features can compensate quite a bit) - only online dating with a focus on numbers is kinda toxic in terms of height preferences
@cseptember6562
@cseptember6562 Ай бұрын
@@JeffreyWongOfficial Sure women like that exist but they are outliers. I think when women say tall they mean 5'11 and up. That is where a noticeable difference from average height (5'9) begins. I dont think that is an overestimation. When most say tall they mean relative to the height of other men not to their own height. I dont think a 5'2 girl would consider a 5'8 or 5'9 man tall even though they have decent height difference. I also think the impact of broad shoulders is overvalued. Its not a make or break trait like height can be and it only really helps taller men. I doubt a short guy with broad shoulders would see any significant boost from it.

As a 5’2 guy 31 year old guy who’s been rejected my whole life, ive come to terms with the fact I’ll most likely be alone and die alone. The thing with being a short guy is that women won’t be attracted to you, and many times they don’t know why; it’s at a subconscious level. I haven’t been told point blank, as some people in the comments have mentioned, that I’m too short. However this doenst make matters any better. As I said, a lot of times a lot of women don’t know why they’re not attracted to you. Being a short guy, you’re simply invisible to women in terms of attraction. No matter how great your conversational skills are, most people (women included) will see as you a great, interesting, lively guy to enjoy time, but you’ll never be a romantic/sexual option for them. Even if they’re not “put off” by you, they’ll won’t be “attracted” to you. Their feelings towards you will simply be…neutral. I also dislike it when people say “just be confident.” Confidence makes absolutely no difference if a woman is not initially attracted to you. Confidence cannot manufacture attraction, it simply retains, and increases, attraction that is already there.

Ya, i watched this one. The questions I would like to have answered is "what compensates for having mental health issues, and no job prospects?" Who cares if I'm 6'4" (since I was 15, 45 now) it doesn't matter when you're unstable and live on gov assistance. Even the college degree I got (psychology, go figure) doesn't seem to do much. I'd rather be short then a bundle of red flags.

I imagine that in the swiping world of today, where any decent looking woman is overwhelmed by choice, it's a convenient way of reducing the numbers. Women have more to go on than such simplistic factors irl, but all else being equal they're still going to choose based on height.
@Razear

The de facto cut-off that women insist on imposing is 6'0" on dating apps since they're naturally afforded an abundance of options. It essentially renders any guy below that arbitrary threshold SOL through no fault of his own. And the byproduct of this reality is that it encourages men to lie about their height, which cyclically poisons the dynamic for both parties.

as a legit 5'10 person (was measured 179cm at doctors office, which is not accurate imo, im more 177-178 later in the day), I never get called short. Infact I've been called tall a few times (obviously only by old people/asians, not young people). But that's because most people add 1-2 inches to their height, so most people claiming 6ft are probably my height. So yeah, never experienced height discrimination (besides in my family as my brothers and dad are all taller than me lol)

I think it's important to emphasize the sources being cited (Speed-dating, Dating Apps, Stated Preferences). It is all low-engagement first impressions. Vibes and actions are significantly more important when it comes to attracting women (for long-term relationships), and that just doesn't bear out in those kind of environments. I guarantee, if you compared the kinds of men women have dated/are dating to their stated preferences, there would be major discrepancies. This is even true with men when it comes to valuing girls' looks. The reality is that if you meet someone you click with (emotionally, comedically, whatever) you would date them in a heartbeat even if they didn't quite meet your ideal preferences.

It isn’t black and white. Both “look’s, and personality traits” are equally important for LT relationships. Certain level of mutual physical attraction needs to be met.

@DaDainDan
@DaDainDan Ай бұрын
@@renachiiuwu6463 It is undeniable that there needs to mutual physical attraction. Looks are almost always important in terms of getting your foot in the door. You're probably never getting a date if your vibes+looks score doesn't meet a certain threshold, but once you're actually dating, you're generally only moving forward by maintaining vibes and having good character. I really just have an issue with the people who grossly exaggerate woman's standards and/or use their own physical attractiveness as an excuse for why they aren't pulling. Most people can look decent if they try to, so long are they aren't obese or deformed or something. The reality is most of the guys complaining about this shit either are already attractive enough or at least have the potential to be, but they either aren't talking to enough women or are too social inept to successfully court one. It's also possible their own standards are too high. Based on a couple of my friends and statements from other dudes online, I think porn, anime, IG models, Hollywood, or any combination of the four have broken their minds as to what normal women actually look like.

It would be interesting to study the variance of preferences among women depending on their own height, not just the average. In my experience and intuition, there are a couple intervals. Very short women seem to be happy with a man taller than them even if he's not tall by modern standards. Women taller than average prefer a male taller than them but are willing to date one who's the same height or shorter. And the taller they are, the more willing they are to compromise. It's the ones around the 5"4 average who care about male height the most and are most vocal and stringent about it.

And studies found that women tend to associate taller men with greater physical strength and ability to protect them. This perceived ability to protect can be an attractive trait from an evolutionary perspective, as it could contribute to the survival and safety of both the woman and her potential offspring. It’s thousands of years of learned behavior, and it’s probably not even a conscious thing.

@@blacklyfe5543 We have a lot of Stone Age thinking in our heads. I studied psychology for a while, and you would be surprised. For example, many people stay in bad relationships. One of the most common reasons for this is that they think they can handle the mess. They may have grown up in a broken family or have experienced trauma, so the mess around them feels familiar. Even if it’s bad, they stay because this is what we learned from our ancestors: stick with familiar things because you have a higher chance of survival. Another example is the preference some men have for women with larger hips, which can be linked to biological and evolutionary factors. From an evolutionary perspective, wider hips are often associated with fertility and the ability to bear children. We like to think we are more cultured and clever than our ancestors, but we still have an ancient program in our heads. Thousands of years of psychological learning can't be forgotten quickly. And to be honest, only the last couple of years have been relatively peaceful, which isn’t enough time for significant change. The human body was programmed to survive and reproduce. Many of our actions are linked to this.
