@mrbaldingmanlet that's literally not what I said. First of all, masculinity is about the energy and the actions. If a guy has a masculine energy + shaved head, I really like it. That's what I said. That I have a preference for masculine men (the energy) with SHAVED head (that's the only part about the look I mentioned, and I explicitly used the word SHAVED). I just like masculine man in general, and that has nothing to do with looks. SHAVED head is just one of the physical traits I personally feel attracted to. That's what I mean 🥺

I started losing my hair back in high school. If you think balding is hard on self-esteem when you're in your thirties, imagine how it feels at 14. My advise is going to be nothing original, but if you have a bad case of hair loss, don't even waste a cent on medication, it won't help. Don't try surgery either, all the people I know who did end up bald anyway with scragly hair they must shave off and huge scars on the back of their heads. What you want to do is to shave it off, or at least buzz it as short as you can. Grow stubbles or a beard because the fully shaven head/face combo is hard to pull off (we ain't all built like The Rock). A shaven head with stubble looks manly as heck, so you have to accentuate that. This is why everyone tells bald guys to go to the gym and pack muscle. I did that and I can safely say that I have NO regrets, even if buying clothes that fit good is a huge pain lol (stretchy fabrics and tailors exist thankfully). On that matter, you can follow the clothing tips on this channel as they are really good and a fit body will just enhance the clothes you wear (polos are pure money when you are jacked). You won't attract the woke feminists with blue armpit hair who think big is beautifull type with your new chrome dome look, but 95% of other women will not care about your hair. If 14 years old me could have seen present day me, I'm sure I would have binned my graphic tees and started shaving my head and lifting weights a lot sooner.

yeah i get it man.. it also depends tho.. people with darker skin look great when shaved cause you cant see the stubbles.. also white blonde man, if they shave , the shade of the stubbles is barely visible cause it also matches the skin color.. but for me, im of mediterranian descent and have absolutely black curly hair and pale skin.. i deal with my balding by shaving my head but even with the closest shave.. you see the black stubbles on the pale skin... cause i have very thick black beard it is acceptable... but do you have any tipps about the visible stubbles ? always wondered how some bald people have such perfectly shining head...

@@mike15. I'm juste like you to be honest, my dark brown hair does show on my white skin even right after shaving. The two ways I know to make the stubble completely invisible in our case is to A) get so old that your haird turns white and doesn't show so much and B) wax it. Personnally I chose to enjoy life right now and just not really care about visible stubbles (and there is no way in hell I'm using wax there). You see it more because you focus so much on it, but trust me, if you've gone to the lenght of actually shaving your head it's plenty good enough. Heck, I haven't shaved for a couple months, I just buzz it down to the lowest setting every other day and you really get used to it. More precisely, I just buzz it for things like a day of work, but if I want to attend a social event and look my best, then I will actually shave it all off. I won't waste precious gym time playing the hair dresser!

Impeccable timing as usual Antonio. In just over a week, I'll be turning 30, and I'll be officially saying goodbye to the struggle of hair loss. After the military, my hairline just receded so quickly. I didn't really care for the most part. I already had a gf turned wife, and I was a touring musician, so confidence wasn't an issue. I always felt that owning your hair loss was a more confident and masculine thing to do. But I look in the mirror now and I'm just annoyed at all the extra bs I have to do just to look decent. And I don't do combovers or anything extreme. My style is just brought down so much now. But at this point, I'm ready to embrace my 30's, and a new decade of my life deserves one less stressor. seems like you are the perfect role model. Can relate, had a similar moment with my friends. I am in my 20s, still having a full head of hair and I am not balding (at least not yet but maybe in the next few years) and I had some friends over my place for a nice evening. We were having a few drinks, played video games and talked about this and that like life, girls, jobs, etc. etc. At some point we started talking about styles and we realised that I kinda looked like a femboy and that maybe I should consider a make over and a new style, giving me a lot of suggestions what I could try. One of my friends who actually sports a shaved head for some time (he usually had longer hair) threw into the room that it would be interesting seeing me bald. We all had a good laugh on that idea but I started to consider it, so in the end I went to my bathroom, grabbed the clippers, came back to the living room and asked him to shave my head. He did it and we even razor-shaved my head afterwards. Had to get used to having no hair but it suits me and my friends like it.

I can personally give my story here. I get thin hair from my dad. I could never do anything with it and you could always see my scalp no matter what. In 2010, I completely buzzed it. Not shaved but buzzed it to where the next level would be squeaky clean bald. INSTANTLY, it made me feel more masculine and my focus on improving myself shifted from the head to the other areas like shoes, tattoos, shirts, pants etc. It's a game changer and freeing.

I know this is coming from a guy with a full head of long dark hair in his sixties, but my father kept his head shaved through the ‘60s and the ‘70s when everyone had long hair other then him, Isaac Hayes and Yul Brenner. Women found him very attractive. And while he was a farmer and truck driver, when he chose to wear a suit or a tux, he really did look sharp with the bald head.

It helps when a guy has a nicely shaped head, but even so, there are things to consider with loving understanding, i.e that being born with certain body areas we aren't happy about (and sadly made fun of is not nice). Same thing happened with me bro i am just 21 and due to stress or genetics i don't know.. it could be stress cause i was in stress for the past 2 years as my dad expired but last year I saw some receeding i consulted doc and he said i am norwood 1.5- 2 and prescribed me finax previously i started taking finax and after taking it for 3 months even though I was seeing great results but still I thought why the hell even I am taking it ,is it worth it, is it even worth the risk i am taking by consuming it .. hell naah so I took my trimmer and bam just shaved it i thought that my folks frnds and my girl would laugh at my face but on the contrary they loved it and Mee too I loved it. i have thick beard so it kinda help me with my look .. started lifting weights , started focussing more in my gig and now i am way too relaxed ,confident have stress free😂..

Started clipping mine without a guard (I like a shadow) in 06 and haven’t looked back. Thanks to Statham, Diesel, etc., the look has only become more popular. Probably losing mine slowly but I’ll never know. Also hides the grey and at 55, that’s a good thing!

When I was 24 (35 now), my hair started to thin. At the very moment I realized that I shaved it off. Those who know me were a bit shocked, but I was also lucky that it was percieved very good and people complimented my head shape. I also grew a beard and there are women that tell me that I rock it. Keep in mind tho, It did changed the way I look drasticaly and some people can't cope with that, but you should embrace the change. People who just got to know me always say that it suits me well and no need to change that. The thing is, my barber always told me that I don't have the right head shape for a buzz cut so I always had a "normal" hairstyle. Guess barbers were wrong. Also, some women that were interested in me before that when it comes to looks, were turned off by it, especialy since I don't use a razor to go completely bald but I'm using a trimmer, so there's a bald spot, something like Jason Statham. But, I'm satisfied with it and don't care about it at all, so there are many women who just love it. Own yourself and what you are. Don't hide it and be confident and open about it. Most people don't care at all and there are women who will be interested in you and even compliment your "hairstlye" and balls that most people don't have. Also lead a healthy lifestly and workout. I did that always so fit body complimented the shaved head better. Cheers!

This video has excellent head shaving tips. I tried all the snake oil and it didnt work for me. I couldn't shave it in the 90's because it was considered a fad in the military. The late 90's to early 2000's, the USAF changed a little, and more men started shaving their heads. I've shaved my head since 2003 and now I have a gray beard. My wife likes it! Don't hide it. Just take the Clippers and cut it short. Once you adjust to it, start shaving the head. I use a Hydro 5 blade, an Alum Block for occasional cuts, and the Old Spice Bald Care three step system. It works great for me, and cuts down on the shaving bumps.

Pro-Tips from someone with 20 years experience with shaving my head&face - 1. Shave Gel is good, but Coconut Lotion is best. 2. Shave in the shower. Shower nosils usually have the pressure to quickly & easily clean razors... which you're going to be doing dozens and dozens of times each time you shave, which should be 3 times a week.

I use to rock the bald head back in middle school, and I started doing it permanently in late 2020 during the height of the pandemic. My hairline started receding anyway and I'm getting older (just turned 38), and I'm saving money from having to get haircuts. I'm used to girls being attracted to it 😅 but I've always been told I can pull off the shaved head anyway. Only issue I usually have is the razor bumps, but there's ointments to alleviate that.

great video. I think its worth noting that at the end of the day, being bald is just another haircut. Im 27 and have just now started too notice some minor recession start to happen. I went ahead and shaved completely bald just for the hell of it and actually really liked it. For a really smooth shave,.. do one pass with the razor and shaving cream, next use some kind of facial scub or exfoliating wash on you head to scrub of the dead layer of skin , wash off and do a second pass with the razor and shaving cream, you should instantly feel the difference, using a scrub gets you closer to the scalp resulting in a nice clean shave.

Great advice- glad I started shaving my head. BUT don’t go and buy clippers to shave your head- you’ll only use them once! Go to a barber and have them clipper it down for you and then finish shaving at home. Shaving my head is easier than shaving my face honestly. Have only kicked my head once and my ear once (both due to rushing too much).

When I went shaved I had to deliberately start to smile more. I found that strangers would tend to come across all a little intimidated when encountering me in public. Like in a grocery store isle for instance. People will avoid eye contact with you. So try to act nice to people unless you just don’t want them to talk to you in line.

that is pretty true, I made that experience myself. I am still having a full head of hair (might be balding in the next few years) but I decided to try out the bald look since why not? With hair I used to look a little like a femboy and people were always acting nice towards me and now with a smooth head and after growing some scruff (trying to grow a nice, full beard) people act more careful around me. It is such a weird feeling but somehow enjoyable too. Always smiling and trying to look polite so they are not scared of me. Interesting experience.

You are not your father, you are you and it seems like you learned from the mistakes of your father. I have been balding since 27. I'm 42 now. Still debating on whether to shave it. A FB group about hair and makeup I surveyed said either balding or shaved could work for me. Personally I hate having facial hair, have no interest in appearing dominant, and worry head shaving would need to be done like every 3rd day versus a haircut every 3rd week. Also the concern over cuts and scar tissue that science literally has no remedy for even on the outside of the body.

I think the key is 'I don't give a shit that I'm balding' displayed in behavior. Shaving bald is like growing a beard or long hair - you display you have the ability to step away from the herd. Weird thing is I’ve never had much in the way of hair on my head (not like my back, chest stomach lol). But, I’ve never struggled with women. So, I think it just comes down to confidence. Particularly if you are positive about it. If she says something just be silly about it. Like how “she’s just jealous about how much money I’m going to save and the hairdresser”. I started losing hair when I turned 16 in highschool, I did a hair transplant as I turned 24 and it became little better but the doctor said in the end I will lose the hair before 50. Took the step and shaved it off when I turned 26 and felt 10 times better afterwards and been doing this now for 4 years. Was wierd in the beginning but after some time I grow into it and got back my self esteem which always has been low due to my hair. For anyone planning if they should do a hair transplant or shave the hair off, start with shaving see how you feel and how it looks. Then you can take the decision if a transplant is worth it or not after you have talked to a specialist.

When i slowly lost hair i was only worried at the beginning of loosing hair. After some time has past i (and all other men with the same non-problem) don't give a shit anymore. I know that there are things like Minoxidil that do slow and even stop the hair loss, but i don't even care enough to use that stuff anymore. Two minutes ago, I was shaving my skull (Remington Balder). I shave every other day to prevent stubble. I was graying and balding for 30 years, and I just didn't like the way I was looking. So I decided to either do a buzz cut (Jason Statham) or go full skin (The Rock). The ROCK!! That was January, and I still haven't gotten used to being bald.. I've been told I look years younger. Maybe. I'm still self-conscious about it. Frankly nobody seems to take notice. But, this is going to be my look for the rest of my life.

Hi great show awesome coverage. I am a 72-year-old single male. I once had lots of hair, until my construction helmet blew it away. LOL.. It began at the age of 45, and I felt horrible about having half a head of hair. It wasn't until I joined the military as a navy member. Our tours were to China and elsewhere where the heat, and reflection of the sun off of the water made me sweat a lot. The other crew members were half my age and most had bald heads. After a few weeks at sea, I decided to give shaving my head bald a try. I was 52 years old at that time. I have never turned back and at 72 I still shave my head every day. There are some wonderful features to having a bald head. 1) Is the cost of a haircut, and making appointments for the haircut. 2) I always look neat in appearance. 3) I never have to groom hair that I do not have. 4) I never have to be concerned about dandruff. 5) I can put a nice sensible cologne on my head. 6) my eyeglasses give a nicer appearance. I would be remiss to mention that it takes guts to shave one's head, but after a few months I felt better on the inside. All-in-all I feel richer in so many ways.

Just trying to help by adding a couple more comments that I didn’t hear covered but these are only suggestions, your eyebrows when you shave your head your eyebrows tend to look a lot thicker bushier if you can’t do it have somebody that knows how to thin them down for you it looks a lot better just one more thing to take care of I realize but it really pays off as far as more balanced look, The other suggestion pertains to your neck, if you don’t already have some size to your neck just something else to think about ,the muscles in your neck build up very easy with a couple of exercises you can do at home ,and you don’t have to have a neck the size of an NFL player ,just my own personal opinion that if you do have a stronger looking neck it kind of goes along with the bald look, good luck, It has worked well for me !

Played in bands in my early years. Always had a very full head of hair, had to have it 'thinned' every time I got it cut because it was so thick. Wore it very long for many years... Then around late 40's developed a thin spot. By 50 it was obvious enough that I began to feel self conscious about it, so I just shaved it off and grew my facial hair out (I vacillate between beard/goatee). Feel way more confident knowing that this is under my control, and never feel like people are staring at the back of my head now. When in doubt, shave it off. After a few days getting accustomed to the feel of it you won't regret it.

I just think I look weird if shave the head, and also, however I have progressively shortened it more and more until I hit the point where, if I cut it down further it starts to look weird. For me the sweet spot seems to be 5mm to 10mm (0.2 to 0.4 inches) , shorter than that it looks weird, longer than that it looks unkempt.

I am 44 now, back when i was 16 to 25 i had great hair down past middle my back. shaved my head due to my line of work ( bouncer in bar/doorman) hair was just a liability in a scuffle. i never looked back even after i left that line of work, 15 yrs or so. never had a problem because of my lack of hair, i for some unknown reason a few months decided wonder what id look like with hair . to my surprise seems i developed a very large receding hair line and a bald spot. so end of that experiment and back to shaving. wife likes the bald look, and it looks good with facial hair also. my salt and pepper goatee or beard depending on how i feel looks great with my shinny head.

I generally electric shave (up to 36 hours). If not, I use a reasonably good (doesn’t have to be that expensive) hair conditioner, instead of shave gel. Years of experimenting made me arrive at this. I tried a lot of different options

I'm currently 20 years old, I've shaven my head numerous times in high school, and I also rocked a good amount of hairstyles. And I wasn't even losing hair (long story) I've always noticed that every time my hair was long I'd get somewhat depressed, but when shave it and go bald I feel a surge of confidence and assertiveness in me. Currently, I have a buzz cut with a beard and I am seeing that my hairline is starting to recede a bit, I now rock widows peak. And I'm honestly not too worried about it Because I shaved my hair before, I recommend it. Besides, instead of worrying about your hair i suggest you worry about your body. Many people worry about their hair, they fix it, they go to work; now you're bald there's nothing to fix except the other Redeeming qualities of your body, bald men look much stronger by 'em self but if you can put in the work and build more muscle 🤯 you'd look like you'd put one punch man to shame.

Balding is a choice made for me by genetics. Being bald is a choice I made for myself. I kept my full beard and shaved everything else. I'm a big guy, 6'2 420 lbs. Once I shaved my head, my face instantly looked slimmer. I have to shave it every few days. I more recently upgraded my style. Waistcoat, button down shirt, tie and slacks are my go to now. Life changer. When I shaved my head for the first time, it was rather sudden. I used kitchen scissors to cut everything down as close as I could. Then slowly started shaving everything off slowly with a new razor and hot water.

I shave mine in the shower. Let the hot water hit it for a minute or so, then spread a good quality conditioner on it. Electric razor (Pitbull Gold) for casual days. Cartridge razor for work or going out, just using conditioner. When dry, put some bald head moisturizer to shine it up.

Being in my mid 30s, 5'9 and completely bald now, here are my two cents: 1. even though it might feel like the end of the world at first, it is not. for me, it was rather to the contrary. it freed and motivated me to do so much stuff i didnt do before, even when i still had a full head of hair. 2. the big blow to the self-esteem transforms into maturity and growth over time. some parts of the "hedonistic youth lifestyle" might get lost, but its only a matter of time until most of people lose their youthful motivation anyways. Everyone ages, for some men its their hair, for some its their belly/weight, face wrinkles, eyes drooping etc. 3. Its mostly the process of balding that sucks ass. As soon as you start shaving and get used to it, you will realize that being a bald man is nothing negative. 4. Stay fit and sporty, a good physique helps A LOT and shaved heads can accentuate sporty types more than hair. 5. dress nice. 6. most importantly: most women dont care as much as we think they do. Yes, some women dislike it and some women love it. But on average, most women are not that fixated on mens hair. Many women look at the "whole package", which for them does not only consist of physical traits like fitness, height, hair, facial structure, eyes, etc., but also how a man moves, speaks, how his voice sounds. being smart, emotionally intelligent and a good communicator etc. Also having good dick-game, wealth and a nice lifestyle does help a lot. You catch my drift. Being popular with women takes a lot more than just a full head of hair. My last and probably best prove for this is the rather sad fact, that up to 80% of all men are not really physically attractive to women. online dating stats and real life surveys prove this time and time again. this means, that even with the fullest heads of hair, most men do not have the looks to cause initial attraction in most women. Of the few men i know who are very successful with women, some have hair and some dont. So this last message is a somewhat double-edged sword: on the one hand it should cheer you up if you are losing your hair, because it is NOT the one factor that will make or break you. On the other hand, for many men it means, that even with hair, they are and probably will always be just average or below-average looking dudes. Hair does not make or break you. Its much more your "whole package", "frame", physique, intelligence, facial structure and eyes...

Well, obviously I shave off the hair on my head, and I've been doing it for almost 25 years.Of course, I started for the well-known reasons. First I had receding hairline in my mid-20s and then circular hair loss.But I didn't want to conceal one or the other, so I took up shaving. Today I can't imagine myself with a full head of hair, and as a child/teenager I had really thick hair. I can really advise every man who is confronted with hair build-up to put on the razor. For those who are interested, there are nowadays image editing programmes and apps with which you can quickly simulate the bald look :-)

Great video. Don’t forget this fellow gents: while there are women who don’t like a bald look there are women who don’t like a certain eye colour. Or it might be a certain type of face. It’s all subjective. Guys can laugh it off if it’s about not being a woman’s type but when it about balding the rejection cuts harder. But here’s the thing. There are dudes who have to have a girl with 36+ cups. Remember that breast augumentation is a serious biz. Some women have to be able to grab some hair, that’s just the way it is. I lost my crop in high school. Yea it hurt. Yea for a while I wore hair systems. The women I met didn’t care if I wore it, they didn’t care because they knew I felt better with it but in the end I felt like I was hiding. I finally did it 22 years ago and I never looked back. I’ve had women come up and rub my head many times. One girl even shouted something that I can’t write here but you can guess. What starts out looking like a condition (hair falling out) matures into a trait (bald look) just like any other trait. I would’ve liked to have known that when I was 19. It took me a long time to be cool with it. If you realise it’s all in your head while you’re young and you take action you’ll have it made. Oh, one more thing: work out. It helps. I think I got lucky as far as the era I grew up in, in Los Angeles during the 90s and 2000s, it was actually the style amongst Mexicans to be bald, so I had been bald a few times before, I did the low cut for the most part from my jr year of high school till 2021, from 2021-22 I had let my hair grow and it was good thick curly hair, the longest I had ever let it grow, but didn’t feel like maintaining it anymore, so I shaved my head again, having done it many times through my youth I wasn’t really self conscious about it, I prefer to be bald even though I can grow a full set of hair

Simce i was in my teens my hair thinned a lot and started to receed early. By the time i was about 23 no matter what i did to my hair it looked stupid. So i took the plunge one day and got it all shaved off. Firstly i felt scared what people would say since i had medium length hair for a few years. I started to gain confidence and noticed a lot of my insecurities died with my hair since i wasnt in the mirror trying to fix my hair for ages anymore. I dont know what women really thought of it but ive been married now for 5 years so it doesnt bother me as much what women think of it. One mistake ive made for myself is i wear a newsboy cap most of yhe time because ive always liled hats and this one suits me a lot and i get lazy and dont shave my head often enough and it hides my obvious bald area lol. My Nephew, who just turned 27 is a Officer in the Airforce and this year is the first time he took control of new recuites. He actually done some modelling a few years back, a tall 6'5" good looking, clean shaven, looks a bit younger than what he is with a full head of hair, extremely fit guy physically, some would call him a Gym Bunny. Saw him last week, completly shaved head and a thick beard. Because he was such a "Pretty Boy" No one took him seriously, until he grew the beard and shaved the head. And I have to admit, he looks strong, intimidating, mature (Reminds me of Techno Viking from a few years back) He done it to look the part and by all accounts, none of the new ones question him.

I've been shaving my head for ten years now. I had very beautiful long light brown hair, and I lost it all in a year. I tried many products to stop hair loss, none of them worked, so if you're having thinning hair, don't bother, you'll lose a lot of money, and stress yourself out for nothing. I started witty very short buzz cuts, and then I shaved my head at a barber. Gradually, I realised that the barber is charging so high for something I could do myself, so I started shaving at home. In the beginning, I used a Gillette fusion cartridge razor, it was comfortable, easy yo use and very practical, but it caused a serious problem... hair bumps... these things are really nasty and can cause some sort of painful and really irritating rash. So, I switched to a safety razor. I still do cut myself occasionally, but the end result is just amazing. So, if you start having thinning hair, just go for it. You can start with a cartridge razor, but you'll develop very irritating hair bumps. You'd be better off with a King C Gillette safety razor, or a Edwin Jagger, these are the best out there. A lot would advise using a clear shaving gel, but it really does not matter, you'll get used to it anyway. Just make sure you have a shaving gel, or shaving cereal that's appropriate to your scalp. Finally make sure you apply an aftershave that smells right.

4 years ago, everybody notice my thinning hair, and nobody told me, but a female co-worker, i immediately starts going to gym, i got the confidence to shave my head when my body become muscular, but after covid, almost 2 years that gyms were closed in my country, i lost all the muscles, now, i started to workout again, but i feel shy to show my shaved head, i am waiting to be muscular again, i envy those guys that have 100% confidence being bald
