I think there is never a great answer for taming Mahoraga with only the 10 shadows because it simply requires Tiger funeral and used in some type of combination with the other 8. They even hinted at it requiring #9 in the anime. Rewatch the scene of Megumi doing the entire summoning ritual of Mahoraga.09 ... 0 through 9. Maybe the Domain is 0.

The problem with that is, when things are concealed in the shadows, you have to carry the weight of that thing. So you'd have to be strong enough to have the weight of Piercing Ox on you while moving fast enough to dodge Mahoraga from killing you

I re-read the Reggie Vs Megumi and true Megumi can handle a lot of weight so he would definitely be able to move around while Piercing Ox is in the shadow but the problem with that is, inside of Megumi's shadow there is no footing, there is no buoyancy, there is no resistance. You just keep falling forever (until Megumi decides to release you) so if Piercing Ox is in there, it won't be able to run thus defeating the whole purpose. Another point is that in the Reggie fight, Megumi uses his domain making him stronger so any feat performed in there can be argued to not be the same when Megumi is not using his domain. Reggie even says that the increased function of Megumi's CT due to the domain is incredible. So maybe he can't even hold that kind of weight normally which would make it harder for him to move if Piercing Ox was in his shadow

People don't really consider a Nue/Ox totality. I can't remember if it was stated that it was DISTANCE traveled or time running. If it's time running, normie Ox is fine, but if it's distance traveled, Nue/Ox totality being a flying type could travel MUCH faster than on-ground Ox. Shrine seems to be based on the concept of, "the kitchen". Sukuna uses ancient cooking tooks like hearths and cleavers. Yuji should have access to *ALL* modern kitchen tool. Microwaves, SCISSORS, knives, fridges, freezers, blender, etc... *NO!* Yuji would *NOT* be able to separate Dragon Ball fusions. It is *CLEARLY* stated in Dragon Ball that *ALL* fusions are their own singular beings. It's not Goku and Vegeta coming together, it's them making a whole new single being that has only one soul. It's like the difference between making a salad, and baking a cake. You can still see the individual ingrediants in a salad, and they can be separated. With a cake, there's no such thing as unbaking it, the egg's been crashed, the flour's been wet, the dough's been kneaded. Yuji 100% would not be able to separate DB fusions.

I've already thought of this, to kill Mahoraga one must first open their domain. After opening the domain summon orochi and then get him to bite the bottom half of Mahoraga, after that summon nue to grab the top half and rip it off (with help from totality dog if one has it). Then one must summon rabbit escape and use the bottomless well to give it nue's lighting. Have Rabbit escape fill both of Mahoraga's wounds and then multiply inside of mahoraga while using nue's lighting to pop him and eviscerate the remains and also have the rabbits taking bites out of him for extra insurance

My game plan is to absolutely cheese the binding vow system with it. First I make a binding vow that allows me to restrict myself from using shikigami in exchange for the others to get stronger. The most obvious plan is to use the buffed ox or agito. You could do that but you could risk losing them in the fight so you should use Well's unknown abyss to fuse shikigami without the risk of killing them. They might be weaker but the binding vow buffs might balance it out and if not you could lock yourself out of combinations for shikigami too.

-> Get Ox -> Get Nue -> Mix Ox and Nue -> Get Treadmill -> Make the combination of Shikigami run on a Treadmill for a very, very long time (stashed in shadow constant power up) -> Summon Mahoraga -> Let the combination out of the treadmill and run over Mahoraga -> If that doesn't kill it, then the electricity will kill it. The Ox power will probably merge with Nue's, letting electricity build-up as well. Electricity is also heat. Could build up the heat like Sukuna's fire arrow and turn Mahoraga into a Kabab. Not to mention the shock of the electricity as well.

The most importend thing here are the basics. If you have Cursed Energy strenghtening down to a level where you can react and block "Mahoraga" then you have a lot of options with the remaining 9. Not even counting some high level totalities like "Agito" the more attack focust shadows, "Divine Dog:Totality and "Piercing Bull" can do work if you set them up for it. The multitude of damage types is also in your favore here. With a fleshed out domain it might even be possible to overwhelm him if he can only adapt to one thing at a time. Cursed tools could also come in handy if your the leader of the rich Zenin clan at the time of the ritual.

I got two ideas: 1- Hollow crimson: overlaps 2 convergence orbs to form an unstable orb that bursts with explosive force. 2- Sanguine furnace: heats external blood to a boil which gets shaped into an arrow for a projectile attack.

Megumi could've tried taming Mahoraga a lot before Gojo got sealed because even if he couldn't do it Gojo could wait on standby to save him from daddy Raga. The ritual wouldn't work, but he wouldn't be dead either so he could just try again later when he's more confident.

The problem with that is Mahoraga could just start adapting to Gojo's CT. While it won't be instant, if enough tries Mahoraga would get strong enough to overcome Limitless like we see and we know Mahoraga can carry over its adaptations. When that happens how will Gojo stop Mahoraga?

Sukuna also made sure to fine tune his domain amplification to NOT cancel his own technique which is why the wheel kept turning black and not disappearing. If The adaptation was maintained between summons why would Sukuna need to maintain the wheel without dismissing it? Sukuna’s actions prove that Mahoraga doesn’t keep his adaptations upon dismissal.

In Shibuya Mahoraga while being untamed adapted to Cleave and Dismantle and we see that in the Gojo fight, when Mahoraga is tamed, it doesn't need to re-adapt to Cleave and Dismantle. It just furthers what it already adapted to meaning it kept the adaptation to Cleave and Dismantle even from when it was untamed. So yes Mahoraga does keep his adaptions, regardless of it being untamed or tamed or being dismissed

I’m just saying right now if Gege gave us a flashback fight of the predecessors of the six eyes vs the 10S users. This could have happened after Megumi became the head of the zenin, and Gege could have held off on the massacre a little bit longer. And Megumi could’ve just went through Zenin history and read through the fight and we could have saw how Megumi would’ve imagined it. It would’ve been JJK’s ver. Of Hashirama vs Madara fight, it could’ve also showed us the burning hatred between the Gojo clan and the Zenin clan, and would’ve made it much more wholesome at the fact that Gojo broke that cycle of hatred by not only taking in the current user of the 10S technique (the very same technique that killed his predecessor), but also adoring him and becoming the adoptive dad that Toji himself felt he genuinely couldn’t become to Megumi. Which makes it even more tragic that in the end the cycle still repeated by Megkuna, along with the hug Gojo gave Megumi’s body

I think Yuji's domain expansion would encompass both of his CT's, with the domain featuring one sure hit from one of the abilities while the conditions of the domain work to enhance the other. For example, we could see a domain that features a bunch of busts or statues made in homage to the friends that he has lost throughout his journey, and each of them could spew an endless wave of blood that he can control to fight alongside him. At the same time, his actual sure hit could be the cuts from shrine. Or it could even be that the blood is actually part of the sure-hit, where only things that have been 'marked' with Yuji's blood are subject to the sure-hit as part of a binding vow, but in exchange for those conditions, the domain's sure-hit becomes far more potent and resistant to negating effects.

Is there any significance to cursed energy colors? Most characters seem to have a default of blue but there are some characters like Mahito who had a purple color and Yuta who had a pinkish purple color to their cursed energy. The special grade finger bearer in season one also had an orange color to some of his attacks and Yuji for some reason had a red cursed energy color during season 1 when he was fighting the finger bearer and had his fist clenched. Is there any significance behind it as much as we know or is it simply just a design choice?

It might also be a good idea to combine multiple Shikigami's abilities together, for example Megumi's one combo against 3 Finger Sukuna using Orochi to grapple his opponent while raining down attacks could be very effective. On a very high level Sorcerer with extremely powerful Shikigami something like Orochi Grappling and wearing down an already injured Mahoraga alongside a Max Elephant blasting him with water then closing out with lightning from one of those Enormous Nue's would be enough to finish him off if he was already weakened. It's also been shown that Megumi can combine particular Shikigami together even without Totality as shown with The Well's Unknown Abyss, so while it's likely not as powerful as Totality there could be some devastating combinations such as an Orochi and Piercing Ox combo, where an Orochi could position itself deep under ground in a certain spot and charge straight up at whatever target the user plans to use it against at high speeds, which eliminates the predictability that typically comes with the devastation of Piercing Ox's charge. Combinations like that along side the amount of Cursed Energy needed to make the Shikigami strong enough to damage Mahoraga could provide multiple potential avenues to kill Mahoraga while he's in the process of adaptation.

I don't think yuji's punches would affect Gogeta or Vegito that way since 1. They are completely different from Meguna so saying it has a barrier between their souls for Yuji to hit to split them apart(in theory since he hasn't done that to Sukuna as yet) for a dbz fusion that literally fuses to create a new being not a new body for them to inhabit is a bit much. 2. Unlike lets say spirit fission, I don't think Yuji's soul punching ability allows him to split apart fusions like that. I don't even think it would be that useful against jinchūrikis like Naruto or even Himawari who is kinda like a fusion since Kurama is part of her soul not just sealed inside her.

Have The Ox run for several kilometers while fighting Mahoraga and trap it in your domain just shortly before the ox reaches,while in the domain have it severely damaged by combinations of Nue,Demon dogs drop a max elephant on it, and then when ox enters the domain it delivers the final blow, another option is to have multiple oxes in the domain running circles before attacking Mahoraga, but all this should be done quickly to prevent it adapting to the domain

I have two thoughts about yuji's shrine; 1: Benevolent Shrine could be the Cursed Technique Reversal of Shrine, implementing positive energy into the CT 2: If unconfirmed, the type of CE Furnace uses could be positive energy, which would answer the question to shrine's two aspects since it would be the Cursed Technique Reversal instead, and why it's a rival to purple in destructive capability

How to tame mahoraga: 1: Summon Piercing Ox 2: Store Piercing Ox in the shadow 3: Have him run for about a month or year. 4: Summon Mahoraga 5: Activate Your Domain Expansion. 6: Summon Piercing Ox 7: Use Lightspeed to reduce Mahoraga to atoms. 8: Optional: Summon Mahoraga whenever you feel remotely threatened Notes: using a treadmill should work. Consider making a binding vow to have Piercing Ox despawn instantaneously after destroying Mahoraga, since lightspeed would make Piercing Ox go around the world in about a second and might hit the user and turn them into particles :( hopefully the domain should reduce the chances of that happening🙏🏾

I wonder if Yuji's domain would look like Jujutsu High. It has several shrine structures within it. Otherwise, if the funeral rite theory is true, it could look like either his grandfather's hospital room or the room where Yuji collected his grandfather's remains and ate the second Sukuna finger. It would be neat if Sukuna's domain is massive and dominating, while Yuji's is small and humble. It also favors him more as a melee fighter to have a tight domain with nowhere to run.

my prediction for what the next chapter might look like is that Uraume, regardless of wether the fight against Hakari was over yet, might infiltrate the domain in some way and save Sukuna. We've seen that Uraume can sense Sukuna's cursed energy or output or something similar, she might abandon Hakari mid fight and just run to get there, bringing more combatants to the field, and it could be cool to see how strong Yuji's gotten over the fight based on how he can handle Uraume. Alternatively, because this is Gege, Uraume might have won the fight and killed Hakari before coming to join. Even if they can't infiltrate the domain it would be cool to see Yuji and Todo fight Uraume in general. I'm just really betting Uraume will be involved next chapter, regardless of the form, I just don't see how Sukuna gets out of this otherwise

Pierceing Ox working relies on multiple No-Limit Fallacies, so not a good choice. What might work is catch Big Raga in a barrier, use Max Elephant to produce a bunch of water, the use Nue's lightning to separate the water into Oxygen and Hydrogen gas and set that off. Sukuna's Thermobaric Bomb Domain worked to kill him, so this should as well.

An initial thought for how Benevolent Shrine might work is basically creating a zone of healing as strong as Hakari's jackpot, and it works for all of Yuji's allys but not for himself. Him selflessly imbuing his comrades with the healing required to fight Sukuna, and throughout that exchange yuji takes lethal damage, the good guys win, and Yuji completes his self sacrificial arc, having saved everyone around him with his Domain.

I think the answer to the question is obvious, I do agree with you that the domain expansion is a good tactic, but what I would do is tame the first nine , have Gojo or another strong friend kill 8 of them , and then take the totality that comes from that and then domain expansion mahoraga

I believe yuji's domain will be a lot more different than sukuna's if he gets the malevolent shrine, cause we already know that sukuna's looks like that because the shrine is as a result of a binding vow, without that it's quite hard to imagine.

I think another possible way to defeat mahoraga might be to summon Max Elephant far away in the sky and drop it at him. Such a heavy object may cause massive distructions when falling, and also the higher it starts, the more damage it deals. The only problem then is how to get daddy M into perfect place and lock him there

i would say a possible way to take down mohoraga is taking the mei mei/ Gon approach (those who watched HxH know) meaning using the shodow with the most offensive capabilities and using a binding vow to say sacrifice the shodow for over to make the attack crazy strong

8:30 little idea I just had, maybe it has to do with the conditions of the binding vow he made while within whatever body he was in the time. He could have had it be specifically while he was within that body, he would uphold his end of the deal but when swapping over to Geto's body, all those binding vows became null. I dunno. Just thought I would share.

Cheap suggestion, but wasn’t it established that you can bring other sorcerers into the taming ritual? That being said, seeing how Sukuna defeating Mahoraga didn’t translate into a successful taming by Megumi, I’m gonna assume that one would have to deal the finishing blow at minimum to successfully tame a Shikigami. But yeah, my recommendation is to invite everyone you possibly can for a good old round of Ju-Jumpsu Kaisen on dear old Mahoraga, all the while using the opening Gojo tactic vs Sukuna and using full incantations + support to hit Mahoraga with the he strongest thing I could throw at it/him (which you’re probably correct to identify as Nue’s lightning). And if that fails, then ask Gojo to kill him cuz otherwise we ded.

before I even watch the video, if it was me, i would: use the domain. spam all shikigami except nue and piercing ox. none of them are likely to be able to finish raga off in time, but itll keep him occupied (unless u got sukuna levels of CE reserves and output, if u do then spawn that nue kaiju and spam lightning) spawn in a shit ton of pierxing oxen, make em run for as long as i can, crash into raga, obliterated, get rid of the splattered remains by spamming nue

Combine Nue, Ox and Snake. have it fly overhead to ramp up the Ox ability. DO NOT do anything that would cause Mahoraga to adapt the ability to fly or become immune to blunt force damage. Distract and evade for as long as possible using rabbits, the toad and hiding in shadows. Bring down the giant flying Ox to smash sucker into bits and obliterate the pieces of Mahoraga left behind with lightning.

People who think Piercing Ox can do it rather assume that Piercing Ox just scales up infinitely and linearly, but that is likely not the case at all. More likely, it has a limit - like anything else in the series which would be relative to the user of 10 Shadows. To me, and this is a bit of headcanon but not baseless headcanon, Mahoraga cannot be tamed by the 10-Shadows user. At least not through it's own powers. Everything in the ability very clearly can't deal with Mahoraga at once. If anything, Mahoraga is the perfect counter to the 10-Shadows. What this means is that there is a "hidden" biding vow built into the ability: because the 10 Shadows user CAN'T tame Mahoraga, Mahoraga as the tenth shadow can be exponentially stronger than everything else . Basically, it's a loop: Mahoraga is powerful because it can't be tamed, and Mahoraga can't be tamed because it's too powerful. The only way for a 10-Shadows user to tame Mahoraga would be through means outside of their cursed technique - either cursed tools or by using someone else's body somehow, like Sukuna did.

A Nue/Serpent/Max Elephant fusion might be able to one shot Maho with enough lighting but it’s hard to tell if Nue was so big due to the hybridization or due to Sukuna’s large energy reserves. If not that then a 1 kilometre run up with Piercing Ox might do it as well.

I have a head canon that one hit kills for maharoga isn't the actual way you're supposed to tame them but rather success on a technicality. My belief is that the intended way of taming them involves overwhelming the adaptation process itself to prevent maho from countering or to carefully chose what it adapts to and when to make it back fire (like it did during the sukuna fight)

My belief comes from the idea that we've never seen maho adapt to wildly different concepts and the 10 shadows specifically comes with 9 unique concepts. I feel like mahoragas weskness should come from having to adapt 9 seperate times (assuming the 10 shadows user doesn't die before the wheel finishes spinning) I think some strong binding vows, a solid plan, and some creative chimera shadows should be enough for the 10 shadows user to concur the beast even without a one hitter style technique

I don’t think people realize that the ten shadows is designed to push the user to the maximum of jujutsu. Think of the ten shadows as a tournament arch of a shonen. The difference is that you don’t have to battle them right away. Mahoraga was designed to be defeated by a ten shadows user who’s understood the core of jujutsu, mastered every Shikigami “ i probably spelt that wrong’ as well as mastered the domain expansion. The jujutsu has literally been waiting for someone with a Gojo’s mindset to be inherited by. Even though we’ve seen Sukuna use it and we probably will never see someone master it fully and use it to its full scope. The few that we’ve seen Sukuna in my opinion is a drop in the bucket.

The annoying part is that you must destroy all of it IN ONE HIT before adaptation to the attacks. And I agree with you that none of the summons in base has the power to take it out either, I would probably also do something similar with Nue and a domain, maybe make Nue a totality with a few other shikigami to try and amp the lighting, maybe Nue + Piercing Ox, assuming the running of the Ox scales the power/damage of lighting.

Idk, Piercing Ox’s addition to Max elephant would be cool but you would have to have it scale for a very long time, if you reverse it and add Max elephant to the Ox then you are in basically the same boat as before.
