If our REITS are already free of cost because we have been holding for more than 10 years since the GFC, for example, it's OK to hold on, I feel. But if the porfolio is 100% in REITs, it isn't ideal for a retiree because REITs do rights issues.

Actually everyone is too focus on short term interest rates. Longer term rates are now higher, and I think the steepening of yield curve is very beneficial for banks. Banks borrow short term and lend long term. So ... interest income might not be as badly hit as perceived.

overall .. people have been going to JB to do shopping .... RTS is not going to be a big hit because eventually prices in JB will rise also .. But .. if rental in singapore still continue to rise .. The consumers will dead first before the .. tenant because the price is pass to consumer..
