There also would be less delay in-between runs, waiting for scoring, if they judge in your suggest way. That could help avoid the stinkin wind.

It would be so rad to know how all the riders judge each others line and runs. Even post event for fans, judges, and others riders to know would be so interesting. Each rider ranks the lines and runs anonymously - can't rank your own line. Maybe let the diggers and judges do it as well and see how it compares to the live show judging. Everyone would learn something from that. Maybe the judges are nailing it, maybe there are some unintentional biases? I'm sure the TV producers would want live scoring anyway but all the diehard fans would have an in depth post event scorecard from the people on the hill.

It’s a judged event, people need to get over it and just celebrate it for what it is. People keep coming back to compete for a reason. If you want a clear winner race world cups. Everyone’s subjective interpretation of the runs and builds is unique, that’s why judged events always have a flaw: human interpretation.

He talked about it why his score was so high. I think he deserved to win personally but if you asked him about there being other people he thinks could have beat him I guarantee it won’t be the people you’d expect.

They should just keep it simple. Everyone does their run and each rider votes for their favourite. Most votes wins. Simple

Well you and your friends are building line for 5 days (sickest line you can think of) and than day before competition you find out that your max score is 83 and highest score of GOAT Brandon Semenuk (who rarely makes mistakes) is 95, would you even start your ride? I thing not! I would say F that and had a beer watching the show.
