I was out this morning filming in a small town with the idea of making a video with a historic story to it. Part of this involved taking film of what are now private residences but it was limited to a few seconds for each house with no identifying information included. No members of the public are featured and, since it is Sunday, the 10 seconds of the school have no children. Although it is of historic interest and almost all of the inhabitants are aware of the story, I still feel awkward standing in public and filming. I make no effort to hide my identity and happily explain my intentions to those I meet. I was even able to give historic details to thankful visitors who were unaware of the whole story.

Nice "Audit the audit" style video, and I hope you do more. Nearly all the "audit" videos are created to cause confrontation, and contain little else of genuine interest. Two exceptions that come to mind are Charlie Veitch and Danny Shine. Both could be annoying, but at least they were open and mostly entertaining. I imagine that drone laws will be tightened at some point too, due to an increasing number of complaints sent to the CAA. It's sad that a few selfish individuals can spoil what is otherwise a good hobby.

Incorrect, they arent created to cause confrontation. There are a lot of videos that have created great publicity for companies because they promoted their first class customer service to the public. If these idiots chose to be ignorant to the laws and approached in this negative way then that's their own doing. It's down to the individuals how they handle themselves, act a prat then look like a prat. Act professionally then reap the rewards.

‘The viewers are interested in what you do’. Well, the clue is in the name - they sell car parts. So we know what they do. What do I want to watch a video about it? I wonder why he picked this company specifically, and not one of the other businesses on the estate? Did he know he’d get more of a reaction by choosing these people?

Under GDPR an organisation cannot delete data after a formal SAR request has been made. If this auditor has said "I am making a *formal* request for that data and deleting it may be a breach of Data Protect Regulations" he would have been correct. However, as he did not make a formal request they can delete the data in line with Data protection regulations under their requirement to delete data which is not needed by the organisation.

like most so called auditors this guy is a hypocrite, on one hand he tells this guy to wind his neck in and that hes being rude, while being incredibly rude and patronising himself. Who the hell do people think they sell to, its anyone who needs parts for their cars obviously. The auditor has to provoke a interaction and then has to keep that going by asking incredibly inane questions and if necessary by being rude and offensive. The phrase, behavior likely to cause a breach of the peace, comes to mind. Auditors require skills and qualifications, these guys have neither.

Meanwhile, the wheels are in motion to capture everyones image in an attempt to identify and track every member of the public. But this is ok as it's for 'safety' and 'security'. Most people in these situations seem to focus their misplaced 'concern' on the thinner edge of the wedge and don't even know what's going on in the bigger picture. That in itself is very worrying, never mind some random bloke in public with a cheap camera...
