Bamboo grows well in Alabama, Miss., Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Florida. Our Bamboo forest don't seem to get that large however. But then again we have huge Oaks, Hickory, Walnut, and dozens of other large hardwood species that grow to 150 feet. Now if you want big trees, the worlds' largest we saw in two forest in California, giant Red Woods hundreds of feet high and so big, they drill out the center and busses can drive through them. They live to be over 5,000 years with bark over a foot thick. We went through one that they actually turned into an RV and walked through it and took pictures with the family and years ago it was on TV on "Believe It Or Not". Wild Girl was fun to watch and we have traveled to over 177 nations and all 50 states and we have such a beautiful world and I only wish peace on Earth and wish all the nations could just stop the wars, as our blue marble and diverse people deserve to live a life without constant worry. Keep up you videos.

Beautiful wild girl making an awesome treehouse out of bamboo. I wish we had bamboo as big as that forest in the USA. I may try that using my lumber mill and cut long beams and anchor them to trees on my property to see how high I can go up. Awesome job thanks for the ideas.

That must be Moso Bamboo -- I planted some seeds about 20 years ago and two turned into tiny Moso Plants , year or so later I planted them where I wanted them on some Land i owned in Mississippi,,,, I now have a Forest, and every March new Shoots begin to pop up out the ground all over ,,, the ones I do not want to grow I just kick and break them -- My Grove looked about identical to the one in this video.. :) I always thought about a Tree House up in them, and now i am watching a cute Girl do that.... She did a wonderful Job. My kind of Girl!!!!

I didn't see her do it, but I hope she put wire ties on the back support of the stair treads. Those nails will pull out after a small amount of use. Safety First. Otherwise, an incredible project.
