You remind me of myself some 30 years ago. Keep it up! Don't let yourself get sidetracked by the 9-to-5-mill. I wish you the very best.

You are amazing. It's so cool to see how you've been writing for pretty much as long as you've been alive - I remember seeing you writing at 4 years old, and wondering where it would take you in the future! Your talent never fails to inspire me. 😊 ❤

Really good video! I have also written stories ever since i picked up a pen but lately i have not written so much. However, this video was inspiring and i think i am going to work more on my novella. Thank you for uploading content that feels genuine and calm. :) /Märta

You are a writer through and through! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I have a few notes. I resonate with your discussion so much as I'm a fantasy writer myself, and I'm also working on massive volumes also heavily inspired by WoT, LotR and Sanderson. My main project is called the Adventures of Jazz Cat and Reggae Dog and its a monster of a story with far too many characters, storylines, plots, etc etc, but I hardly consider it my own story - the idea and the characters came to me, and I feel a duty to bring it to birth. I feel so grateful to be the first to experience the story and the characters, and they are my friends that nobody else knows yet, and I am so inspired by their story that I feel obligated to be their champion in our real world - that is, to get these books published and into the hands of the readers who will enjoy or otherwise benefit most from it. On the topic of idea creation, I also agree with you. I think ideas come from our own life experience, and the closer we are to walking our true path in life and living in alignment with our purpose, walking through life in a meaningful and inspired manner, ideas will come naturally. At least, this is what I've observed in my own experience. On the topic of fantasy, I feel too that fantasy is powerful beyond measure, considerably more so than most people realise. The biggest and most influential stories are most often epic tales, myths and legends. They have shaped us. One more note: a lot of my fantasy story ideas explore similar themes to you, namely the distance from God theme, which I hadn't even considered until you mentioned it. The world needs these stories now more than ever, as I agree, the Divine has been cast away in our world, discarded, which is a great tragedy. Stories, characters can help guide people to the truth I'd say, to a righteous path, but in a subtle and artistic manner. And on that basis I consider storytelling a high art. It can move man's heart truly. I think I'm rambling now, but I wanted to share these notes with you, because I meet too few people in my life who are genuine writers, and I lack these kinds of discussions. You are definitely someone to watch out for, I'll be looking out for you books, and will follow your journey!

I too have shared many of these traits - keeping writing like an old friend for so long, and having young notebooks like that. I look forward to more uploads and to finish this video! :)

lovely video✨what do you think of the idea of prisca theologia, or moreso, that there is one grand ancient story that we keep retelling? following that logic that stories always build off of others before them, perhaps there was an original one.

I love you 🤍 you've inspired me to just go for it. to push through despite fear and doubt and maybe hope for something magical and worthwhile to come from it.
