It's funny that most of the people online complaining would most likely never use the bike to its full potential and would never have hit peak revs

That 0% error applies to far more than just their tachometers. It's just how they built their 2007 cbr600rr. Zero error.

You can experience that also on a little 250 or 400cc inline 4 from the 90’s. They’re the must FUN bikes to ride. The sound of going 100mph while going 40mph at 17,000 rpm. No torque down low, all power up top. So much fun.

Several years ago, I watched Crash Test Goat here on KZbin drive a R6 like a R1 for many videos and that R6 never gave him any problem. Goat essentially drives a half a MotoGp race in every video regardless what he drives. The R6 was an unreal well designed and built machine. I do not think we will ever see a bike built as durable as the R6 was ever again. It was truly a street capable track bike built for track racing. What a stunning achievement from Yamaha.

no brand wars but honda will outlast yamaha. yamaha is a great bike tho, but I'll choose honda for track. and because of its bulletproof engine, meaning if i mod it, it can withstand the pressure oft the mods. and u will have a peace of mind abusing that machine without worrying.

Really i used to work for a Bama Honda Kawasaki. We got to see all kinds of stuff but Yamaha was my Favorite and was friends with owner of a Yamaha shop. I purchase a 1981 Yamaha Seca 550 Yeah 1981 Yamaha Seca 550 They all said it run a 109 miles an hour. And run12.99 in a quarter of a mile. I just took 4 in to 2 Exhaust off and cut 3 2" holes in the air boxes That bike was fun only 528 cc 9.1 Compression, And Weight 424 pounds half tank of fuel and only made 50 horsepower at the crankshaft. With a 10.000 red line. But it was more like 15.500 rpm 137 mph O with a little Benzing, it turns 7.57 in a 1/8 mile. With just 528cc 9.1 Compression, Oh, and I still have it and 3 RD 350
