well in 1.16. the nether gets a lot easier when you have the chance to trade with the piglins before you go to a fortress because there is a rather high chance of getting fire resistence, which makes the blaze fight a lot easier. Or make a shield if you can. :)

The Dragon Always Perch In The Opposite Side Of The Player So When You Setup Your One Cycle In The Centre Fountain Run On Any Direction And Put Your Eye Closely On the Ender Dragon You Can Also use Hitboxes And When You See A Sudden Snap Of The Dragon To The Center Fountain That's When You Have To Run/Pearl To The Fountain And Start The One Cycle 2. Players Put A Obsidian/crying Obsidian Block on side Of The Highest Bedrock On The Fountain Cause Obsidian Is Immune To Explosion They Can Use It To One Cycle The Dragon 3. There Are Four Types Of Bastions Bridge (The One In The Vedio),Treasure,Housing,Stables

As a new speed runner I think it's important to note that there's definitely alot more you need to know then just bastion routing. You definitely need to know how to one cycle, as a beginner I doubt new players get to the end fast enought to do a normal fight and beat it by 30mins. I would encourage learning about the E count and F3 pie charts for the nether as they help alot and thankfully calculators are unbanned for speedrunning so I'd definitely also learn how to use one of those programs to help reduce time

The beds: Make sure you blow them up at the head, and when it's still coming down. You can press F3+B to show hitboxes. How to tell if it's perching: If it's spiraling up at a tower on the opposite side of the end, that means it's most likely perching.

Fun fact: Y-level is unaffected in nether-travel, so even if you make a portal on the nether roof you could end up in a portal at bedrock in the overworld. It is only X and Z coordinates that you need to worry about, as the Y coordinates are handled by the game trying to figure out the best place to put you in those coordinates. The reason you generated a portal in an ocean cave is because the game tries to put the portal on the surface (it will always try to) but it can't, because the surface is water, so it then checks underground for the best place to put you closest to the surface which was in that cave. If the portal can't generate underground (no caves available) then it will put you on an obsidian platform in the air.

you can also try some of the weirder world records if that sub 30 isnt working out for you. when i started i tried to have the fastest time to get max enchants on full netherite armour, a turtle shell, peircing and multishot crossbows, a bow, silk touch and fortune tools, a flint and steel, shears, a shield, riptide and channeling tridents, and a gold helmet (i need to update this now that leather boots are useful). it was honestly a really easy speedrun i just needed fortune and looting from desert temples and then go diamond mining before going to the nether for bastion strats and then beating the game for end cities. you can max out your crossbow at the bastion if youre lucky, and if you need more theres always illager raids. so if you want to beat my time of 5:17:08.22 feel free to do so. you can even invent your own runs
