Thanks Steve! Sometimes just trying to do a good job is the way to go. I would have much more success on KZbin if I wore funny hats, did comedy routines, only did videos about games, talked through a puppet, etc. But just not me. Glad you like my laid back style. Tell everyone you know about my channel, I only have to increase my views 1200% to get a million views a month, then I can quit my day job. (of course I will be retired before that happens, but one can always dream) George

Absolutely and thoroughly love this video! All the tools you pointed out worked great and very precisely. Also, the 'Decontamination' worked very well, which is the first time I've seen it work that happen. All the tools performed just as you explained and this beautiful lady turned out just fine! Thanks, George!

Thanks John! The Select and Mask makes it easy to create complicated masks and I love how you can easily switch to different tools while making the selection, it just needs a bit of getting used to if you are using it as a replacement for Refine Edge since it requires a different approach. George

How did you get Bridge photos at the bottom of your screen? Great video, really learnt a lot. Thanks
@HTGGeorge6 жыл бұрын
Hi David, you can open Adobe Bridge from the File menu in PS. I get most of the images for my videos from Pixabay.com and the ones you see in Bridge in this video are all from Pixabay. If you click SHOW MORE in this video description you will find a link to get the photos used in this video. George

You're welcome Rich, this new Select and Mask tool in Adobe Photoshop took a bit to get used to. I was just staying away from it for a while since it behaves dramatically different then Refine Edge. Thought it was about time I did a dedicated video on the tool since I will be using it so much in upcoming Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 videos. Gives a video to refer back to for any questions. George

George what are some free sites that you would recommend for brush downloads, smoke, splatter etc. For Photoshop elements?
@HTGGeorge6 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, I have had good luck finding what I need on these sites: www.brusheezy.com/brushes myphotoshopbrushes.com Both of these sites are ad sponsored so make sure you don't accidentally click on one of the ad download buttons instead of the brush download button All Photoshop brushes should work fine in Photoshop Elements as well, so if the brush does not list that it is for Photoshop Elements don't worry. George

How To Gurus thanks a lot George. Love your DVD training course on Elements 2018 as well. I just got Photoshop CD too, looks similar to Elements.
@HTGGeorge6 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements have a lot in common. Many of the tools work the same way, the filters are the same, the basic brushes are the same, the gradients work the same. Basically Adobe Photoshop is far more powerful and Photoshop Elements has more features for beginning or casual users. George
