@@JadenYee oh hi I’m currently writing my personal statement for dentistry and I want to specialise in forensic dentistry so obv I have to go through dentistry and I was wondering for my introduction should I include why I want to get into forensic dentistry ?

Hey there, I was wondering what topic you chose for your EPQ, and how I could decide on a topic for my EPQ as a prospective dental student
@JadenYee2 жыл бұрын
I talked about my EPQ in my A-level results video so you might want to watch that for more info. But I did a project about water fluoridation. I would recommend reading articles and things you find interesting, this will lead you on to many new topics you might not know about and then you can decide from there!
@xenne.2 жыл бұрын
how would you recommend learning the practicals ? Like just the basic method steps that are the essentials for getting the marks in the exam ? It’s like my worst thing in chemistry I really struggle to
@xenne.2 жыл бұрын
- learn them despite I use anki to memorise other things
@JadenYee2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I think flashcards are definitely one of the best ways to learn pure facts and information. I also think that just reading the practical and watching videos online can really help you remember and further your understanding. You want to understand why you have to do each specific step and learn how to describe the steps used such as titrations, distillations etc. Wishing you the best of luck!
