Does it hurt to use 2 pre-emergents or will Embargo or other take care of winter/summer grass etc and broadleaf weeds.

Anthony B I wouldn’t apply two, you could run it to issues with too much in the soil and it could starve your lawn of nutrients and water.

Hi Ben. I am wondering if you can do a video or maybe you already have on your irrigation pump? Hey man, perfect timing with this vid! I’ve got some oxafert I’m wanting to put down, but planning on trenching in my irrigation in the next month or so. Obviously going to need to reseed the trench after I’ve finished, but if I put the oxafert down now is that going to stop my lawn seed from germinating in a month or so time? If so, how long after seeding should I wait before I put it down? Cheers legend!

Awesome vid as always. Thanks Ben ! My two cents regarding pre-emergents ... after watching my lawn become infested with guildford grass ( the weed with a horrid corm under the ground ) and a scattering of random broadleaf weeds and bindis, I took some desperate action and purchased metsulfuron methyl online for about $40. After spraying my lawn with this product most of the the lawn is brown EXCEPT the buffalo and couch. The metsulfuron killed the kikuyu and all the weeds. I'm now waiting and watching nervously hoping the buffalo recovers ( it's a bit yellow in patches ). Love your channel ! ~(,, ,,">
