Today we make round corners on a table with a simple jig. Making round corners on your table gives your table a beautiful look and makes it stand out from other tables, but just using a jigsaw doesn't give perfect round corners. I made a simple jig you can make yourself to make perfect rounded corners on your table everytime! You can re-use this jig as many times as you want!

This is fascinating to me. I just did this task using paper, pencil, rip saw, rasp, and sandpaper. Looks perfect. Good thing I didn't know I needed $1,000 worth of power tools. I was only doing 2 corners though. If I was doing 50 I would invest in the power tools.

Great job, Johnny! Maybe don't cut your fingernails and try do without the sandpaper. You don't need waste $5 on paper!

I came to see how to do it without any tools. Bro used every tool in the universe.

Without tools would be nearly impossible, ever tried breaking wood with your bare hands? Let alone a nicely rounded corner! All kidding aside you do need some tools yes! You could also purchase the rounded corner template somewhere so you only need a router with flush trim bit and some kind of saw!!

After rounding the corners and then priming and painting I learned a valuable lesson: after fine sanding the corner, wet the wood in order to bring up the grain. Let it dry and then sand again. Maybe need to repeat. I didn't do this and now my corner is all dimpled despite many layers of primer and paint (water based). Oh well. Guess it might depend on the wood. I was working on pine.

Raising the grain with water is necessary for every woodworking project that might come in contact with water! Well, lesson learned bet you’ll never make that mistake again!! I have made that mistake before once or twice! Cheers👍🏻👍🏻
