I’m so glad we went with a floating laminate rustic wood look floor in the entire house. It’s neutral, easy to clean and most rugs will go with it. The driftwood color/texture suits our casual lifestyle and will go with most paint colors we would use. There is no shame in reusing cabinets. We gutted our entire home when we bought it and went on the hunt for used cabinets including the kitchen. It saved us thousands and we love it. Nice job!

I really love that you do these projects without ripping everything out and using what you have. I think the peel and stick tiles look great.

It’s coming along nicely. I would update the lights to one that says I’m French country

Love the black and white flooring. We did our kitchen with the black and white peel and stick many years ago. With some heavy foot traffic there were a lot of wear spots, so we replaced it with ceramic black and white tile. Still love it after all these years.

I love the flooring. I have used peel n stick tiles for lining the shelves of a deep pantry and under the sink. It makes for easy cleaning and a slick surface for pots and pans to move and pantry items. Quarter round does make a big difference.

I just love the black and white tile . It’s looking good! We got snow here in the Houston TX area - and we hardly ever get snow - loved it!

Snow, I’m jealous. We only got a good dusting again. When you picked up the paint chip I could not really see the difference but after the painting was done,😮 it was beautiful. I love the black n white flooring.prefect touch. Can’t wait to see it all finished. A good low water flush toilet is very nice. 😊❤

If it is in the budget, I would purchase a new light over the sink. Something that would be along the lines of French Country. Lucky you that Ben is so neat and a perfectionist with his work!!😊

I’m not being a hater😅 I guess I’m just really picky because I love the diagonal shape on the floor much better. It would have looked more French country….but I do understand the ease of applying them just straight. It still looks ok. Can’t wait to see the mirror you’ve chosen…I know it will be beautiful

Just a thought, I really would have loved to have seen a diaginal floor lay out. Maybe a large square in the laundry room in the center of floor. It would be so easy.❤ just a thought. Looking great.

We were So happy to get rid of our ceramic tile! The process of getting rid of it was horrible, (as you know!!) but the end result was great! We replaced it with peel and stick and loved it! We had ceramic tile in our kitchen. We'd drop something breakable on the floor and it wouldn't break, but that tile would crack every single time! I think you can also put peel and stick on your counter top! Have not tried that myself, but I've read about it! Desperation will send you looking for all kinds of saves!

Teresa the new bathroom floor is gorgeous. Black and white is a classic design that never goes out of style. Is there anything that Ben can't do? I'm sure you always have a Honey Do list. Lol 🤣

Lol, sprucing up an older home is usually either complete tear out and redo, or compromise. Ask me how I know... The bath and laundry will be wonderful. Diagonal in a smaller space would be labor intensive with all the cuts and I think lose the impact of the design. Diagonals need a nice long run. The compromise is beautiful.
