Good time. Don't worry, there are no problems with this in Russia, upon arrival, form a free or paid card whatever you want and, you can have a few so that the money is in your pocket on the card, it's a matter of a few minutes in Russia. set a limit on the most unusual purchases, and you will use them without any problems. In case of loss of the card, it can be blocked immediately by calling the bank's operator's hotline. Next, the bank can give you another card, this is done quickly. But this is a very extreme case, you can leave the card at home, use the online card from your phone without any problems. So you can be calm.

@svtccvs Sometimes, the ignorance of the western citizens beggars belief. Why did the guy saying that he heard the price of bread in Russia is £50? If it was written 50 Rubles, he should have checked the conversion rate, but then, maybe I am asking too much of him. I am here in Africa, Kenya, and I know the cost of living in Russia is very cheap. I heard a British KZbinr saying that he pays an equivalent combined bill of $350 for water/electricity and heating in one year. Water is delivered heated to his his house. I guess there are two supplies; one cold, one warm. But he went on to say that is what he used to pay in one month in the UK for water/electicity/gas. I can vouch for him for I used to live in the UK. In Russia, you save much more money and much more easiliy than anywhere else in Europe. Hello, what's the best book for an English speaker to learn Russian?
@bellathereader1328Ай бұрын
I’m learning Russian and the best approach is choosing from a multitude of free on-line KZbinrs and then picking a program and an on-line tutor. If you start with a typical grammar textbook, you will be discouraged because the grammar is difficult. I do find “Russian for Dummies” a helpful explanation of the grammar to just get your head above water
@user-bi4oq1gr3cАй бұрын
Soviet movies and fairytales with subs here on yt + learning grammar properly from the very beginning. Learning by only book would be to boring. Later, as you progress, I would start trying to read classical books, with translation (I’ve heard there are some books with Russian-English text). Anyway, your success depends on how intense do you learn by yourself and is there a real inner motivation to master the language. Don’t rely on any tutors and courses, it’s a semiscam. Everything you need is in internet for free. At least that’s my experience with learning German. No course brought me so much success as a disciplined individual effort/work/search etc. My motivation was to be able to read books in German and to understand spoken language. Which took me approximately 3 years
@user-bi4oq1gr3cАй бұрын
Also you should be prepared that first stage of the process is the most unpleasant and hard for the brain as every other unknown activity. And it gets easier as you digs in deeper to the point when it begins to feel pleasure dealing with the language. Again, no tutor or magic courses in the world gives you the will to overcome the first unpleasant stage. Everything is up to you only and your inner motivation. Otherwise you’ll give up

An ordinary tourist visa can be: single entry for a period of up to one month (for foreign citizens entering the Russian Federation as a tourist in an organized tourist group of at least five persons) single or double for a period of up to three months Multiple-entry for a period of up to 6 months (in this case the stay of a foreign citizen on the territory of the Russian Federation may not exceed 90 days out of every 180)

So depends which you have, but rule is that tourist (or business) visas work that you can be 50% per period, if 1 year visa, then its 90 days per half a year, then you have to enter the country again

Please do not mix up Moscow and the rest if Russia. Having the weekend just visit some other town. Rybinsk or Pereslavl for example

@MegaMaestroАй бұрын
Every country has its own "Rybinsk". The bigger country, the more little dirty towns it has. Why people should bother about them? There are many cities with 1 million+ population in Russia to visit, they are very modern and clean.

А я например очень хотела бы побывать в Рыбинске! Считаю что город красивый, в нем даже сериал снимали. Естественно это не Москва, но по-своему интересный, как и многие города в России
