This is poetry for the eyes, Paul! The blues and yellows and even the hints of green in the sky seem like a visual serenade. That alizarin crimson isn't obvious but it's those brilliant colors like that in blends that creates the music 🥰🥰

Really enjoy your videos. Been a great help. I've bought the practice and freezer paper through the links to provided in your description and am looking forward to try it out. What kind of sticky paper are you using to make the oval shape? And one more question if a may; Do you run live workshops? Thanks again!
@PaulRansonArt2 жыл бұрын
Hi Agust. So pleased your enjoying my videos and saving some pennies using paper as a practice canvas and the freezer paper for a palette. Don't forget you'll need to give the paper a couple of coats of acrylic before using oils. Here's a link to a video all about making DIY canvases kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZPFaqNpnMl2frs I use regular contact paper from the DIY store. Don't bother with expensive art shop Frisk paper it just wont stick! If you look carefully I start my oval by drawing a feint pencil line first and use a strip of masking tape to seal the edge and then use the sticky back plastic to cover the rest of the background. This gives me the best results. 😃 We ran live workshops for many years but it came to an end with Covid. We hope to start classes at our home studio again but have no time scale for it yet. Maybe we'll use zoom for a virtual class? 🤔🤔
@oakworthy2 жыл бұрын
@@PaulRansonArt Thank you for your reply. Really appreciate you took a time to answer my questions. And thanks for the additional information. I'll look out for any updates about future home studio or zoom classes. Cheers, Agust
