How You Misjudged STEVEN UNIVERSE: THE MOVIE

Steven Universe was one of the most controversial shows around the time it was on as well as after. Whether it was detractors who despised Cartoon Network's themes or the people within the fanbase who got impatient, there was a lot of love and vitriol towards this show. Was the movie really the saving grace of the series though? Spinel was pretty great, though.

My comment before watching the video: if White Chaos Emerald wasn't absolved of her actions so easily and the finale's was actually given room to breathe, people wouldn't have had the vitriol and disappointment that spilled over to the movie.
