Another fun fact about Jupiter: it would be a miracle to even make it to the surface without taking several times the lethal dose of radiation. Its magnetosphere is extremely radioactive because it's strong enough to capture solar radiation into radiation belts. Jupiter also has the largest storms of any planet, and the lightning is strong enough to send radiowaves into deep space.

I don't know what sort of channel this is, but after the good job he did with Pluto I thought it was actual science wrapped in humor. The thing that makes me question this is that 300 mSv will *not* kill you instantly! Sure, it might increase your cancer risk, if you weren't a native, but there are actually places on Earth (e.g. Ramsar, Iran) with similar background radiation counts. Ironically, people who live in these regions may have a *lower* incidence of some cancers. But no, it won't kill you instantly. It takes about 6-8 Sv before it becomes a lethal dose, but even then it can take you weeks to die depending on the medical intervention. For instantly lethal, you'd need to be in the hundreds of Sieverts or more.
@Vsor5 ай бұрын
Idk, he was wrong about Pluto though. He made the point about how cold only feels cold if there is something to conduct the heat, but then he asserts Pluto has an atmosphere, or surface oceans, idk. It's so wild to me that nearly every planet in our solar system is deadly and then there's just earth where SOMEHOW billions of humans live as well as all the animals. Its just insane how that happened.

Thanks for creating such an intriguing video! It's fascinating (and a little terrifying) to imagine how each planet could be fatal in its own unique way. Keep up the great content!
