I have a relative who works for Texas Instruments. He is currently finding out for me about obtaining ability to read chips. I hope there can be a viable option for all the many technicians without having to invest too much money. Of course I will report back with any advancement. I am a big fan of we all help each other.

Hello, Sometimes the battery is unlocked with a 20-cycle count, health at 20%, with PF STATUS 000000. Now perform battery clear errors....and health goes at 60% or more. Sometimes a battery reset is necessary when status is unlocked. The channel is great, it helped me a lot

Not sure that's a battery firmware error.... sounds more like the manufacturer build in a detection in the software that if battery goes low and locks then it is charged manually the chip will try to kill the fuse quickly so owner has to buy a new battery or new laptop. Basically you triggered the battery suicide feature and the chip tried to defeat you with a Mortal Kombat Fatality move but failed because you are smarter than manufacturer ;-)

Once a cell has dropped below 2.5 its not safe and should be disposed of. its not worth the risk. (I build big battery packs for large ebikes, I know its a harsh world at 50-150a discharge rates so you need to be more careful but the low voltage damage happens at a chemical level, i'll admit I dont with laptops for the last 10+yrs but i'd spend the money on a new one for a good nights sleep

Ai putea sa postezi un video in care sa ne explici de ce nu , sau de ce da, asa ne am mai linisti 😁

Hello Sorin, I watched many of your videos and I know you always want to show how it is possible to get a battery working without the Advanced tools of NLBA. I admire that , but what I do not understand is why not going straight to see if there is an error code in the EPROM battery and diagnose from there. I mean in this case probably no "incision" would have been needed if you first unlocked the battery by cleaning the errors and then tried the NLBA charge menu. Would not that had worked ?
