This is some great tips concerning passing your interview at Marriott. As someone who was recently hired at a Marriott hotel... Something that they may request when you are answering the interview questions is for the candidate to use the STAR method. If you are not familiar with this method... I would get familiar with it. STAR is an acronym that stands for: Situation, Task, Action and Result. As great as the answers are in the example questions asked in this video, the hiring manager(s) may ask for you to answer their questions using the STAR method. One tip that I would add when answering a question is to give an example situation from your previous work experience. As good as the answers are in this video, every candidate is probably answering in a similar way. So, adding your personal example based off of your previous work experience is really going to go a long way. Another tip is dress professional, dress like you want the job. Don't dress like it's just another interview. Last but not least, greet the hiring manager like you would a guest... This will immediately make an impact.
