He may have a site with 100 listed items, however I would have liked to have watched him mention more urgent issues than missing stove fittings. The older Australian model motorhome I looked at with the view to buying had moisture in some of the cargo lights. Perished and shrunken window seals, awning rail pulled off at one end, leaving the hole where the screw was missing. Old capping caulking, spongy floor and panel repair work under the kitchen sink with cupboard glue degradation of paint surface under the bottom of doors. Blistered paint around the air conditioner, one ceiling joint cover was screwed in, a different surface finish and lower ceiling on the over cab bed indicated by the side capping being narrower than the rest of the van, indicating that perhaps water damage had occurred and a panel put over it. Broken rung on the ladder to get onto the bed. No hot water heater, an LED light over the sink flickered on when the water tap was turned on. Dodgy step caused by the wooden support underneath was split. One of the inner dual wheels was off set and the valve could not be reached to check the tyre pressure. A check of the roof, missing caulking, three bolts loose on the air conditioner (most probably how the blistered paint was caused by water getting in.) By opening the curtains and checking behind them found kitchen panel had been repainted, the rear corners evidence of soft panels in the corner when they were tapped and peeling paint extending to just under the windows. When panels manufactured outer surface was glued on. Glue had degraded on the inside cupboard where panels joined and on some of the cupboards glue degraded and paint peeling. Signs on the bottom corner on floor to ceiling cupboard closest to the truck cab indicating a fire in the engine because of burnt paint. First two numbers on the kilometre dial misaligned, indicating a wind back. Opened the door to the fuses and circuit breaker to find a pasted paper sign on what to do and what not to do and who to contact in the event of failure was clear this was an ex rental motorhome. Exhaust fan did not work and also looked as though burnt out. So buyer beware and even if you have to look at what you are thinking about buying two or three times make sure you do.

This as just put me off buying one. 100 check list that's crazy. You will never get a caravan that is perfect. By the time I've done a 100 check list I'll be ready for another holiday.

Thanks for advise,I would say check that the floor is ok & not spongy in parts,heating system needs to be checked to be working fine cos overnight it can get really chilly... Cute video... Thanks😘

Hi, please can you Advise, if I want to use my Caravan for Storage, Is It okay if I Cover The Inside Of The Floor, With A Tarpaulin On Top Of The Carpet. Or Will This Hold In Moisture and Make It Damp. Any Advice greatly appreciated. Thank You

You missed the most important thing to check for - damp! A missing grill pan is a realtively minor inconveniance if the wall the grill attaches to is rotting!

You covered superficial things. Check the ceiling for leaks, propane tank for aging, fridge for function, leaks in water system, etc. Blinds are not important, nor are grill pans.
