Howard changed radio in ways no one else ever has. Sure there were shock jocks before him, but Howard took it to a level no one else could. Even if you hated him you were by the channel listening to every minute of the show.

Howard supposedly got a gag order on O&A to stop them talking about him on their show. I think Howard was threatened by them and it was a dick move by him if it is how O&A have described it. Howard’s MO was basically trash any potential rivals on air but never really did it with O&A… he arguably did worse to them. O&A and Imus got on great though as far as I know

Jason Heavner, actually Don Imus gave Stern several accolades throughout the years even when Howard still slammed him. As successful as Howard became, and rightfully so given the tremendous talent he possesses, you’d think he would finally let it go. So many Stern fans think they hate Imus simply because Howard does, which is stupid. Imus, without a doubt, has given more money to charity than any radio broadcaster ever. He’s not a bad guy. Either way, I like both Stern and Imus. Both are the best radio interviewers.

I love Howard and Don. Two awesome DJs. Both speak their minds and hold nothing back. They stand for freedom of speech what it stands for. Imus is the shit....I love him to death. Stern deserves credit for revolutionizing the radio medium. Before howard radio was a snoozefest. He made it fun and interesting. The envelope needs to be pushed sometimes and kudos to him for doing it. Radio needed to evolve.

The Howard Stern TV show (someone may have mentioned it already) was on KCOP Los Angeles (I'm pretty sure it was on channel 13 (KCOP, now UPN) in the Los Angeles area) was so funny, it was in the lates 90's. I wish it was still on the air, I think it was just for TV, not the filming of the radio program like it is now (or was in the 2000's) it was an awesome show, I remember a line of people in the studio ready to eat glass and do weird crap just to get to talk to Howard.
