This is why I was never interested in relationships. I like having my space and not feeling guilty about it. I like independence and not being judged how I schedule my day. I socialize, but I need my alone time. Its mentally exhausting to be with people all day. And relationships feels like premarriage. The amount of attention people want in relationships is crazy. I dont even give my dog the amount of attention that people want in a relationship. It may not be like that in real life, but I still see it and that is how movies and shows portray it. Either way, I prefer being single.

@ottokarl5427 That is like finding a grain of salt in a bag of sugar in this day and age, but it's not impossible.😅 Yeah, I have never been interested in finding a partner - heck, I never fell in love. Im 23 now. I had numerous guys through high school, and so forth come to me confessing they like me, and I ended up avoiding running into them because I felt bad. I felt bad to say, "Nope, not interested." One guy even hit on me saying I looked like I could be Julia Louis-Dreyfus' twin. Like, what was supposed to be my response? Everyone I have ever met who turned down a guy or woman had been in love at one point. I never fell in love and so I felt really out of place when I had these boys and men confessing their feelings to me. I felt awful that I ended up trying to avoid them so I wouldn't hurt their feelings or offend them. Although I guess avoiding them offended them. But I did it as subtle as possible. I made small chitchat and pretended the whole love confession never existed. Anyways, relationships aren't for everyone, and I am that person. For now, I like being independent and pursuing my tv and film career as a writer and producer. I'll be too busy anyway to find love. And I was never that girl who sat talking about boys. I was always playing video games, playing with hot wheels, or writing. Who knows, maybe I'll meet a guy, but it's not on my agenda. I'm not going to chase the ends of the earth for a man. Nor am I going to waste time trying out dating. If it happens, it happens on its own. But I'll be focusing on my career and traveling.

Every character on this show has had their bad moments. Even Amy who is by far the most likable of the group overall has had times where she was in the wrong. It’s almost like these characters are human and therefore aren’t good people 100% of the time

If we are comparing the two, Howard is worse. Sheldon at least has the excuses of having difficulty reading nonverbal cues and otherwise has trouble socializing like a "normal" person. Howard is just being self-centered here.

Sounds like Bernadette just wanted ANY time with her husband. She said that Howard spends all day with his friends at work, then chooses to hang out with them after work as well. I think it's reasonable to feel hurt if your spouse chooses not to spend time with you.

Even If you watch tbbt from shorts , you should've known that Howard spends the lion's share of his time with Raj ( they even had a threesome together, get couple massages together, they've kissed and what not....they give the homosexual vibe ) ...and in Sheldon's apartment while hitting on Penny . Any sane woman would feel terrible. Bernadette felt completely neglected. Later on they are spending more time together and things smooth out . Bernadette never wanted 24 hrs a day from Howard ( he was perfectly fine spending an entire day with Raj though 🙄) .

My best friend married a Bernadette.... obviously divorced now. She plied the guilt on him for having hobbies with other people right from day one, as well. Anything he would do, that didn't involve her, meant he didn't love her, from her point of view. It must have been exhausting. "I'm just trying to make you a better man". She would say that to him. I could picture Bernadette saying that to Howard. .... BTW ... my friend's hobbies, at the time, was going to the gym, ultimate frisbee, and cheap wing night, that she didn't want to be involved with so her solution was to do as Bernadette and try and limit his time with those hobbies and have him join her things instead.

Yeah obviously you should be spending time with your friends too but if you say you don't also want to spend as much time with your partner something is wrong in the relationship. Howard and Raj had a threesome with another woman, they kissed using those motion sensors in between, they book couple's massage together, play games together, work together and sometimes they grope each other. Once we had the girlfriends involved, the show went awol. All starts with Penny. Became a silly romance series. If I wanted it, there were tons of them! The reason people liked this show was that how original the storyline was. My least liked characters are; Penny and Bernadette. My favourite character is; The comic book store owner Stuart 😂
