40 years ago, I was 16 , dressed and fixed my hair as Howard was my idol. Unforgettable times those early 80’s . Hope I can still see him perform live before we pass.

How great, I used to have my hair and dress like him, and I was so PROUD when someone on the street said "wow, he looks like Howard Jone" lol :)

One of the lucky vocalists with a voice that hasn't changed in 40 years.

You’re kidding? He can’t hit n’y of the notes and let the crowd sing the chorus. I’m not criticising him, just suggesting that you’re not right.

See Donnie Iris performing in 2023 if you want to see someone who hasn't lost it. Love Howard. He has maintained quite a bit but has definitely lost a little bit.
@cherylatwood4972 ай бұрын
@@kenrehill8775- he’s letting the audience sing and it doesn’t have a thing to do with his voice. I saw him 2 nights here in Florida and his voice is still fantastic. I’d definitely go see him again.

Well it has changed a bit, he's transpose the song down a bit.

You see a common thread amongst the greats. These guys are still humble and gracious. Professional entertainers that stayed dedicated to their craft.

Saw him 2 nights ago and not only does he still sound great but he’s truly a nice guy. He thanked us for coming out even though we’re still cleaning up after the hurricane. Daryl Hall didn’t say anything.

How bout HoJo help Carl Palmer out bring along Beggs or even Mike Oldfield and do a ELP cover thing 🤔??? Totally silly idea however Emerson 80s sounds and HoJo were darn similar although replacing Lake would be a task.
