Can I also just add a tiny bit of stuff I noticed pretty quickly: - “Satisfied” is all about the theme of longing and regret, allowing you to naturally be drawn into that mood through previous knowledge of the song. - This could be exaggerated by Anthony Ramos’ part of “Alexander Hamilton” being sung over it before #ThatKeyChangeTho, as the feeling of being unsatisfied is underrun with feelings about Laurens and Phillip... Side note - the timing of Aaron Burr’s fist clenching in “always” of the C minor satisfied bit I’d so cool ❤️

You know, I really liked how the trailer used the show’s pre-show announcements (Jonathan Groff’s George III saying “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the show” and later “this is Hamilton”). To me, these sound like the recordings that come on before you get on a Disney ride (please keep all hands and feet inside the ride, etc etc). I don’t know about everyone else, but hearing that recording gets me hyped as hell to get on the ride. Hearing those Groff soundbites makes me feel like I’m in for a great and wild ride; it being from Disney doesn’t hurt either.

Also something I noticed. If you sing along to Satisfied (after the Disney Castle scene) it goes like this "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT!! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!! NOW! EVERYONE! GIVE IT UP! FOR-" and then you get cut by Alexander Hamilton (the song) which goes "The Ten Dollar, Founder Father without a father..". Put it all together and you have "Alright alright! As a lover for both dramatic/film analysis and music analysis, this made me very... satisfied. You're by far my favourite KZbin creator! The fact that they used Satisfied is also worth noting since 1) The movie was coming out in a time where Broadway was closed so theater nerds were itching for some entertainment. 2) It was telling the fans "we hope our show will live up to your expectations." And that's ignoring all of the significance of the song in the actual musical (the breathtaking rewind sequence, this song breaking records for one of the fastest songs in musical theater, the fact that this song sets up Hamilton's weakness of him never being "satisfied").
