Just listened to the interview. Amazing. Whoever is editing these videos--you need to stop cutting it how YOU want it to be. It's misleading and I guarantee Howard would be pissed.

As a musician myself, people often ask why I make music and I say ''to express myself'' then they usually ask if I could explain what my songs are about and I say ''If I could, I wouldn't make music.''

Keith Richards is a freak of nature. He's survived things that most normal people wouldn't, including many of his contemporaries in the music business. Lets hope he keeps beating the odds so the world can benefit from an artist of his calibre for still many more years to come!

Quitting the omni-present smokes (who'd thunk??) has done Keith a whole new jam. I almost didn't recognize his voice for one. And he's joining Mick at 80 in a few months. Keep strumming as long as you want to, Sir. Your legend is sealed.

It’s crazy that an individual could early on realize their path in life and be absolutely sure there is nothing else but that path , then succeed and not only that but be legendary, absolutely fascinating is the human condition

What he told Howard is the path every true artist takes: Motivation without considering the outcome that eventually coalesces into something significant.
