I was out on the Rolling Stones Steel Wheels Tour for 16 weeks in 1989. Living Color was the opener. I always made a point of watching their set even if only for a few tunes. They were so good live.

Sweet easy gig slinging tickets to the passengers and making sure they found their bus at the end of the night. The best part was not having anything to do once busses landed till the end of the show. 🤘

During that short transition between when this song hit both radio and MTV and it became a huge hit for these guys, I was fortunate enough to catch them live at a famous music scene bar in KC, MO. Totally stunning performance. Was introduced to them during their break and truly enjoyed their company. On a funny side-note, I just recently had a video call with my ex-girlfriend to wish her a happy 60th (still is gorgeous) birthday. She and I attended that show together. And I noticed behind her on a small display shelf a pair of drumsticks. I asked her which show they were from? She said those were the ones that were a gift from Living Colours drummer. We just looked at each other with nostalgia. Don’t waste time younglings. One moment it’s the 80’s, the next it’s the 2020’s and your friends are celebrating their 60th birthdays...

Saw them at the first Lollapalooza, 1991, Tinley Park, Illinois. Their sound at that outdoor arena was explosive... great show.

Yes, totally. Still wish he played the iconic "headbanging" riff that transitions to the bridge though.
