I spent some time in rehab for alcoholism while in the Navy in 2018. I was pretty sure no one understood me until I had a counselor, the first time she’d ever met me, said “hi”and said “I’d like to play something for you.” And she sat me down and played “One Day At A Time.” The only time I shed a tear while I was there and one of the nicest things a human had ever done for me. So that’s my favorite of Joe’s tunes. But I play along with Rocky Mountain way on the drums about every day too :) Anyways, Joe is a legend!

In The City - from The Long Run. Otherwise, his album Barnstorm 1:53 is very good and most don't know it. It's definately my fav of Joe's solo records although Life s Been Good is excellent as well. What a talent and yes, he saved the Eagles. They maxed out their orig format and started rocking more when Joe came on board. This is why Hotel California just blew up when it came out. I remember the radio promos that mentioned Joe was now an Eagle. That success was well deserved.
