I was waiting for him to mention Wally Boag, having read Martin’s book “Born Standing Up” several years ago and hearing my brother Tim in Chico retell your Disney stories and your dad’s important role in the early days of Disneyland and the movies. What a fabulous legacy.

Steve Martin seems to always be entertaining in his interviews,a rare commodity these days.On the "Tonight Show" most people were entertaining(brought out by Johnny many times),but a few people didn't need Johnny to be interesting AND funny.Hope,Rickles,Burt Reynolds,George Burns,Alan King,Red Buttons,Dean Martin,Jerry Lewis etc Today,only Steve Martin,Martin Short and Jerry Seinfeld fall into that category.

I think the 80's were the last decade a kid could just leave on one's bike and come home when the streets lights came on.
@halweiss86713 жыл бұрын
As a child, my friends and I wanted to break the streetlights so we wouldn’t have to go home. We were so naive. I don’t think we thought if the lights didn’t come on, it wouldn’t get dark. Maybe we did. We didn’t break them though…just wanted to.
