Sparring should be a conversation rather than an argument. Thts some great wisdom
@Sly88Frye12 жыл бұрын
Experience makes a huge difference. Whenever I went sparring in my martial arts class years ago, I usually got whooped because everyone I sparred with had far more experience. There were very few I had superior sparring skills against in my class, but even then, I feel confident in my fighting ability.

His name is Richard Amos. A Shotokan karate Sensei originally from the UK, lived in Japan for a considerable time, undertook the JKA instructor training program in Tokyo, graduated with Asai Sensei, now living & teaching in New York. So you have an English speaking fully qualified karate teacher who offers an intelligent approach to karate teaching, training & practice. IMHO the world needs more Richard Amos's.

ive been sparring for about 6 years, the key is to come up with something unpredictable, and to trick them ex, put your leg up in a crane stance, and then lunge in with a front punch

Sparring in any kombat sport should not be about beating each other up and getting injuries, it's about learning and seeing what works and what doesn't work.

If you don't take sparing seriously then you have already failed. A fight is a fight don't smile and joke around.
@u235u235u2353 жыл бұрын
point sparring is not fighting it's just a joke. just learn boxing and bjj. much much better and each you can practice like a real fight.

@@u235u235u235 Thats like training and not doing your best cause it isnt real. you either do it right or you dont do it at all. dont waste your time if you dont take it seriously.

I don't think I take karate so seriously it's just a sport to me. Others treat it like a spirituality!

Belts mean nothing in underage humans of different age, different genders or just diffrent body mass/muscle mass, amount of training in your own time or how hard you work when training
