Some explain to me please. I see the talc or whatever going in the seed bins but I'm wondering how it gets down to the bottom of the bin? I'm sure there's no agitator in the bin so how does it get on all of the seeds?
@HowFarmsWork5 жыл бұрын
Hi JBM, the graphite doesn’t need to get on every seed, there just needs to be enough of it to keep the meters lubed, so by pouring it on top, by the time you drive around, it’ll work it’s way down through the seed enough to keep everything working properly. I hope that cleared some things up for you!

#USDACROPINSURANCE socialism saving farmers again
@HowFarmsWork5 жыл бұрын
That's a moot point when the government is responsible for the terrible prices in the first place.
@float_sam5 жыл бұрын
@@HowFarmsWork As a society we decided to protect farmers (albeit not well enough, and corrupted sometimes), and production. We also recently played stupid games that directly affected farmers, smaller ones much worse. There are places for giant risk pools where we decide that this is the best benefits for society. The underpinnings of our basic needs food production is a good example, and the needs to protect our self defense is another. I think its a good point to talk about because we rely forms of socialism at the core of our security; including the security that I know you'll want to plant corn next year even if you lost it all this year... or for a couple.

@@float_sam and Bernie wants open borders to flood the country with illegals too.
@zachanderson37705 жыл бұрын
Actually crop insurance isn’t there solely for the farmer. It was put in place as a safeguard to have a sustainable food supply. Look at it this way, if there was a nationwide disaster of a crop, farmers would be forced out of business without a safety net. That would then effect everything from the price you pay at the grocery store to the clothes you wear to the fuel that your vehicle needs. Without agriculture you would pretty much turn into what happened in North Korea.
@float_sam5 жыл бұрын
@@zachanderson3770 that's right crop insurance is a policy to provide stability to society, it is a socialist policy. As a society we deemed it, like defense a necessary need to provide stability. I know the farmer is going to farm even after some external setbacks, thus I know I can eat next year and my friends. We deemed that necessary as a society to provide stability.
