I'm using Safari in both, I use the same Apple ID, I have the green showing on iCloud for Safari on both devices. What else should I be doing? Will this work the other way "from my iPad to my iphone" and after everything is checked off, what next do I do to sync both or just it just happen. Same AppleID. Okay? Should the icloud folders have same name on each device? And should Books, just like iCloud’s, also have same name folders on each device? And if I am creating folders, should I do so initially in iCloud? And then only create a folder specific to a device for when I want one? I‘m looking for more consistent discovery for files.

Actually, I'm trying to match the screens on my iPad and my iPhone. I'd like to have the app icons in the exact same order (including grouping icons) on both of my devices. It's a real pain in the a~~ trying to find apps when I switch from my iPhone to my iPad. See the problem. Is there an app or function that would achieve this? I thought I heard you mention without backing up to a computer often approximately 10% of data is lost.
