You do know he isn’t actually showing the prolapse, right? He’s only showing other people watching and reacting to it. The lore is that at first Howie didn’t want to be associated with the prolapse and was very traumatised by the fall-out that ensued the original “what do we do about it?” prolapse tiktok. H3 however really had fun with it by not letting him live it down and endlessly memeing it and even having a “prolapse artist” performe for Howie live via Zoom. Over time he has come to embrace the meme and is now himself actually showing the prolapse guy to his own podcast guests. The clip is called “the H3 prolapse video” because he got it from Ethan, who has been showing it to many guests on H3 for some time now. The reactions are a version of Lesly Jones.

As a long time fan of H3 it has been pretty incredible watching this saga unfold. It has literally changed Howie Mandel's career. Ethan convinced Howie to talk about it then he started leaning into it after Ethan hired an adult performer that specializes in prolapsing to make a video to show Howie. Then Ethan and Howie both started showing that video to guests on their respective podcasts to get reactions. It has really changed how Howie podcasts and maybe even his outlook on being an entertainer. His podcast definitely got better after he leaned into it.
