What an interesting video! I loved this whole process of sprouting and planting almond kernels.
@annugm21357 жыл бұрын
After seeing your vedio I also sprouted the almonds 3 no in fridge, and two seeds in soil, which not sprouted. Thanks for your vedio. It took almost 20-25 days, I kept it in cocopeat in small chips packet open in fridge, it sprouted.

Nice Video. I’m from Central California where all of the Almonds are grown. In fact there is a orchard 500 feet from my house and i have a tree in my back yard. The thing is that you can grow the tree but in order to have Almonds, you gotta have winter chill. That’s why you don’t really see Almonds grown in the tropics.

Almond grows very fast in regrirator boxes and cold storage areas. Almond loves cold climates. Fruiting process is slow in hot weather.

Cocopete helps, however You don't really need it, I've made a slit in a sponge and sowed the seeds for three reasons and it worked. 1) I don't have cocopete 2) I don't want to water regularly 3) I don't want cocopete inside my refrigerator I've kept the sponge in an air tight container so that there won't be water loss and no fungus spread in my refrigerator. It worked but took almost seven months to sprout. Hope this helps and Cheers

If your fridge is too cold it might freeze them, or your almonds may have been roasted.

Almonds available in India are mostly from America by law they are treated at high temperature and will not germinate, one has to use seed quality almonds, however they are not available in small quantities. Best option is to ask some one to bring some seeds from America. A 10 seed packet costs about 2 dollars in wall mart or Amazon.com
