To cake this iconic Tiffany's Box, I began with 8lbs of my Ultimate Chocolate Cake and stacked it with a sweet Italian meringue buttercream - a classic cake for a classic gift! The cake is covered in a forget-me-not blue fondant and wrapped with a perfect satin white bow. Though the box is already as much as a gift as what's inside, I made a classic silver chain necklace out of gumpaste which sits on a white cotton candy layer. Who said red was the color of love? ;)

I just admire your attention to detail! Making the pearls a little more defined and adding lustre dust to the white ribbon to make it more satin-like. I like sterling silver but it tarnishes so easily. I love natural yellow gold. There's really no such thing as "white gold." It is just gold mixed with other metals like nickel, and the jewelry is then often plated with rhodium to make it look whiter. For any younger women who haven't gotten married yet, if you get a "white gold" wedding ring you will have to get it replated every so often because it loses its shine and becomes dull, so take that into account. I see so many women with dull wedding sets that need to be replated. Yellow gold never needs that and will shine just like new with a cleaning, even many decades later.

Jennifer Crull same. Every piece of metal jewellery I own (which is barely any) is sterling silver plated. The rest is obsidian from the Caribbean or tungsten carbide.
