I top that story. I was an American stationed at a base in Spain who insisted on leaving base to go to Madrid to a Chinese restaurant. I couldn't understand what the staff and patrons were saying, but they seemed relieved when I took my dinner to go. 😂🤣

I went into labour 8 weeks early. Drove myself to the hospital cos, l didn't have spare money for a taxi. Stopped for petrol and a wee cry on the way cos, that was sure as hell not how l'd planned any of it. Parked in a one hour parking slot at the hospital cos, l thought they'd do something clever and send me home. 17 hours of labour later, there she was. Tiny but, alive. She was so tiny l had to stay in hospital for 10 days. Didn't even remember the car for the first 3 days and had to get a friend to shift it for me. Still can't believe l didn't even get a ticket.

Absolutely hilarious. BUT in all seriousness, I've seen several different videos of men trying the labor simulator and they usually just sit in a chair or lie in bed and suffer. I loved that you actually hung the wash and tried to eat (how about workout, make breakfast for the family, start laundry, get 3 kids ready for the day, drive to and participate in story time at the library, and drop off the 5 year old at kindy) while experiencing that level of discomfort. 😂 Mom's are amazing! Thanks for sharing!

This. Was. Hilarious. I was actually laughing out loud, getting funny looks from the husband. EVERY father-to-be should have to go through this. (There needs to be a Level 11 for "complications" -- had some with my son, nearly blacked out from the pain.) Unfortunately, AFAIK there isn't anything that can simulate the baby coming down the birthing canal, or the weirdness of a C-section. (Thank God for drugs.) Mad props.

After very recently going through my period where I minimally have essential two days of child labor pain (I get contractions from front to back, yay!) I got reminded of it watching these guys, including their attempts to do activity to help with the pain and attempts to eat, so I couldn't laugh. I do not wish that pain on anyone, though, yes, obviously it's going to happen during labor. I have to wonder if the pregnancy simulator is different than the period one? Not that I'd want to try it with what I go through...all I know is I have more in common with laboring women during my period than I should and it's a monthly nightmare. Anywho, it's great they were up for this (one to experience and one to support, lol). I imagine the to-be dad would get particular insight how to be even more supportive of his wife as she goes through labor.

Well, i can tell you, for everyone it feels quite different. Some women suffer pains up to 90% on their personal scale for many hours, while others only have pain up to like 50% for a few hours. But i get the gist of what you're saying.

You kinda need it for the entire duration.... My first labour dragged on for 72 hours.... While an antenatal buddy dropped hers in less than an hour, and went into shock.... It's no wonder there's so much elective C sections

Erina was perfect for the job. I was laughing so hard l didn't even notice the pain scale on the right and had to watch it again. For anyone planning to give birth in the future, I did 17 hours with no pain relief. I even managed a nap and some food. It's just that men can't handle that type of pain. 😂

I’m still sure that we have it worse, getting kicked in the balls or having testicular torsion I’ve experienced both and I’m quite sure that torsion pain is worse than pregnancy pain you can die with both being kicked in the balls if hard enough and torsion I think for torsion, maybe not torsion maybe it’s you can loose your testicles that might be it but still torsion pain is like getting a knife and stabbing your testicles furiously. I’m lucky to still have my children downstairs at the age of 16 what a good life I have already lived.
