Have you ever made dandelion wine? I thought I saw a video of yours on it and now I can't find it. I have watched most of your videos on wine and I am learning so much. It's my new favorite hobby. 😍 I love your channel. It took 6 months for this dandelion wine to be done. I learned some dos and don't. LOL. Finally finished when I used your method for filtering. I'm getting ready to start some Blueberry and some peach. This time it won't take so long. Going to use your method from the start for these 2.

Thanks so much for watching the channel. It is a great hobby. Blueberry and peach are great wines to make. I have not made dandelion wine yet but it's on my list. It's something about taking fruit and turning into wine that is so cool. 🍷🍷😁😁👍👍♥️♥️

@@HowToDoneRight I can't wait for you to try dandelion wine. It is definitely laborsome. I don't know if I will do it again unless I get some requests for it next spring. Lots of work with those little petals.😏😏 it does taste good though.

Hello again, Do you use a wine label maker? I think it's called thermoplastic or something? If so what machine do you recommend or do you have an amazon link, so many options and mixed reviews. Wouldn't mind labelling some for up coming Christmas gifts etc.

No experience with label makers. I've bought these for a wedding just not name personalized. amzn.to/3Ba03SH

Hey there! I am glad I have found you! All is well, but I have one question. - In the first part - you mention that you stir wine in the primary stage every day. My question - have you tried not to stir it every day? If you did - what was the difference? And after all - is there any difference at all? Thanks! :)

Thank you for finding us too. I always stir my fruit wines because it has never failed me. There are 2 main reasons for it... #1 you need to keep your fruit moist not sitting on top of bucket out of the liquid.. if the fruit or mint or must starts to mold or spoil you will have much more serious problems. #2 In the primary stage you need to allow your yeast to breathe... it needs some fresh oxygen to perform at its highest ability... introducing oxygen in primary stage is not as important as secondary stage. Great question. 👍👍😁😁🍷🍷

Hello again, I'm just curious if you ever try to make wine from grapes? I know food grapes are much different than wine grapes, but is there a grape that can be used from the store to make wine? Also, do you ever use oak or hickory chips to try to get a more complex flavor. I have no idea what I'm talking about since I am starting my first ever batch tonight, but just wondering if you ever try to make something comparable to the red wines you buy in the store. Sorry for my ignorance here.

Great questions. I have tried hickory sticks and chips but no more. I just don't like that flavor. I now use the hickory and chips for the grill. I will be doing a grape video soon. But you can't use store bought grapes they just will not give you a good wine your use to buying. You have to get good grapes from a vineyard or winery. I think you can even get grapes for wines on Amazon. I really can't wait for you to try your first batch. Keep me posted. 👍👍👍

When you make the banana wine, should you dip the whole bananas in the sanitizer before cutting? Thank you.
@HowToDoneRight

Nope. Campden tablets sanitize your fruit. This all that Is needed.

A question: In bottling, doesn't the crushed Campden tables and the Sorbate that you place in the bottles settle to the bottom of each bottle after a while?

Hello sir, Can we increase alcohol content (eg.>25% ) in wine ? Does it get bitter taste if we increase alcohol content ??
@HowToDoneRight
@HowToDoneRight Жыл бұрын
Most likely not. Most yeast will tolerate about 15 percent before it's killed by alcohol. There may be some yeast out there too get it higher but not sure.
