Hi faith I’ve been watching your videos a while now and I just wanted to reach out to let you know you really inspired me to pick my bible up and get into the word with god and it’s made me so happy I feel that spirit guiding me back to Jesus I’ve had a huge battle last year with breast cancer and my faith was non existent thanks to you I now have Jesus back in my life and I’m so happy

I never hot glue. For fabric, I use Wonder Under or Heat n Bond. No mess, no glue marks, no dry time. Yes, it works with cardboard.

I haven’t read any comments yet, so I may be repeating what someone has alrdy said. When working with hot glue if you want it more permanent put down some E6000 first. You could even use clear gorilla glue. Those take longer to dry, but then you can quick set it with hot glue. Also, to keep the glue from drying before you have the ribbon down, work in smaller sections. Thank you for the Bible study. When I talk and stories in the Bible I get so excited like that. It is encouraging to see other people nerd out over crafting and more importantly God’s word!

I love the book mark bow idea. I’ve used large paper clips and put the bows on them but this is a cute idea too. I save my fabric scraps to use usually but the silk and velvet ribbon idea is great! Thank you for sharing!!

Cute idea! There is a double sided tape that is very strong that you can find at craft supply places. No lumps or bumps. 😁

My mom used to measure by holding with her fingers on the outstretched arm to the tip of her nose facing opposite direcion was about a yard aka 36 inch or 3 feet. Hope that makes sense

I agree -- fabric glue. Also, I would use thinner cardboard -- like what is found in back of a pad of paper.

use cardboard from a cereal box its thinner than corrugated. also use 3m spray adhesive its available from Sam's Club or Costco. It is used a lot but n puppet builds and is great for affixing fabric to stuff.

I would skip the cardboard. Leave the ribbon long and use it as a page marker. You could have the bow at the top. Maybe secure it with hot glue. Burn the ribbon ends to prevent fraying and you could have 2 page markers!

I just tried my hand at the bow. I'm not a very good bow tie-er but I do like the effect. I decided to try some double-sided tape. It's Sookwang and I'm sure I got it on Amazon. I wondered if it would stick to the ribbon. It's iffy. The end closest to the bow, meh. Plus, I decided to not knot it first and just tied the bow. But I used a grosgrain ribbon since that was the widest I had. It's possible that the silky or even a cotton ribbon might stick better. Tomorrow I may try the hot glue.

Faith fabric tac is the best scrapbooking glue it does not wrinkle your paper, and it will hold anything, you can thin it with acetone when it gets thick. it last forever, it would be perfect for your ribbon project

Try double sided sticky tape. It will make it seem less and hold super well without bulk or the bubbling.

Use fabric mod podge. It will allow you to work the fabric before it dries. And when it dries it will harden in a protective kind of way

The bows are cute. Sometimes, I think some people today are acting like people from the Bible. Like the it's says in the Bible, we will have days like the days of Noah. I know I am saying this wrong. I can't remember where it is in the Bible. I am praying for God to send a revival.

I think you should take from this that God wants your heart and for you to be intentional in your relationship with Him but having nice things like bows and arts and crafts etc. are not wrong if the heart is right behind it. Enjoy your things and your life but don't be like the Israelites in Jeremiah 7.
