A good "hidden" feature: You can use GL 2 SD to move the OBB files (data) of your gigabyte large games to the sd if your phone does not support moving the apps to sd. It requires root and so does Link 2 SD which does the same thing but this time with the apk. My phone has awesome specs but only 1.5 gb of internal space, using this app i have more than 20 games which take up 20 GB of my sd and the internal space is barely at 1.3 GB free. This was a life saver since it also allows me to install apps bigger than my maximum free storage directly on the sd

One option I do on all my android phones is switching off animations. This makes your phone respond a lot faster. To do this, go to developer options, and scroll down to the three types of animations. I switch all three of mine off, but you can speed up the animations also to keep your transitions but making them faster. Off is definitely the way to go though.

Most don't know that you can use an Android program called Sygic to have instant access to GPS maps without any Cell phone data plan. Sygic stores maps on your Smartphone of all 50 states, Canada, and Europe, and when you activate the Sygic program and enable your GPS, it will give you not only your location on a map, but you can also use it to plan your trips and do all the things that you want to without using a Data plan.

Just download "Clean Master." (Don't worry. It can save to SD card.) Then press, "clear junk files." It will clear all the cache in your phone for you. It's really helpful and works fantastically.

Another little feature that's everyone doesnt know it maybe: air touch. The new samsung has an air touch sensor, but if don't have an high end samsung or android without air touch, you can download an apps called air touch. They use the sensor to turn off screen while calling as an air touch. Some features are like, when you swipe your hand near the sensor (on top of your phone near front camera) the flashlight will be turn on, or you can accept a call without touching the screen, just put your phone near the ear.

If you tapp on the version number of your android devices it will bring up a "minigame" for example a samsung galaxy tab 2 or any other device that uses jellybean if you tap on the version number 5-6 times it brings up a bunch of jelly beans that you can slide around, if you have the kit kat version it brings up a k that you can spin. Those are all icknow about so far, I actually figured this out today messing around with the settings on my galaxy tab 2 on my way back from a camping trip today.

Best way to switch between apps, is to just use the menu button. Then you can switch between as many apps as you want without backing out. Also, I never select the "Do not keep activities", because then have the option to leave an app by pressing home button, and select another app, then use menu button and select the previous app, to go right back to where you left off. If you want to clear the activities, you can just use that same menu button, and clear all, or select what to clear from the list. Some phones are different, so it may just be a tap to get there, or on some phones you long press the menu button.

I'm sure you all know what happens when you long press the home key. All your used apps are displayed in a Roldex type flipdown format. Simply keep the short cuts to the apps you want, and delete the ones you don't. One of the best features.

Some stuff good to know, since you went back and dubbed your video, I think it would have been best to video the cell phone close-up and without the movement so some of us could actually see the screen which would be helpful. I understand you wanted to be visually interesting by moving your camera around the phone but you could have still achieve this after a few moments close up of the cell screen and you could have done lots of things in post production, but I think it was important to show a close-up of the screen first. And yes I appreciate that this was a run-on sentence.

1. - The Owner Info in Security section of the device does NOT have Owner Info. - Maybe you should do an Update Video for those of us viewing this video in 2016 using Android Lollipop and Marshmallow OS's. - Its now April 9th 2016. And many sections you described in this video no longer exist or have moved to a completely different area. Making an updated video will help those users like me, refind or discover new features we never knew abut....... Thanks buddy :) 2. - Also LightFlow does NOT work on my phone. after trying for 3 months straight, it does not work on my Asus ZenPhone 2. no light changes colors as it advertise and does not do any kind of alerts, it just sits there doing nothing. I believe I wasted money on a app that does not seem to work on my phone, and i doubt that it works on others as my sister and brother tried on their phones. did not work either.

Anytime i make maps available offline, after a few weeks, i try to access them...with WiFi turned off, and they all say...e.g. 'Manhattan Failed to download'...even though they might be only 1MB or so...have a HTC Desire S. So these days when i'm abroad, i either look for free WiFi somewhere...or if i'm in the middle of nowhere....i just go back to the old adage of remembering landmarks etc as i go by them....even retracing my steps hours later...with alcohol taken....still works!!....my Neurons, God bless them, are hard at work....even in offline mode...haha
