Well it's been a few years since an iPhone was actually smoother than anything but like a $75 burner Android. I had to use my mom's iPhone recently and I couldn't believe how mid it felt compared to my OP12 and even the Pixel 7 I had before this felt so much better than hers

Is the app switch delay still present? It's absolutely driving me insane. Some apps have like a 3 second delay when being switched to until they respond.

It's totally gone. App switching is so much smoother now. Look at 11:13 of the video where I explain how they did it

3 second delay happens when using the bottom slider to switch between background apps, when you switch from an app some take long time to refresh and become active to scroll.

I wonder if parallel processing is just about the launcher to show the UI rather than fully system wide changes because with android 15 you have app pairing which will open two apps together at once. so basically android can launch multiple apps at once including rendering the UI and refresh the app state with new data.
