Great topic, definitely want to hear more strategies on how to use speed in a musical way. I like shred, but my ears also become immune if there is too much of it. When I write currently, if I start writing fast stuff I have a hard time moving away from it. And if I have a slower piece and want to use speed as a build up for example, it often feels out of place. Definitely need to practice more integration as well as grind proper motions into my hands
