@@archangel2188 Jk lol. I don't know, I guess it has to do with the way many of his songs about women feel so sincere? His lyrics have this sacred reverance of the female form to the point where it's downright worship, as if he was singing about a goddess or some dark, mysterious forest spirit. It's hard to explain, but I feel like a lot of romance songs from men tend to treat the woman of their desires as some object to be claimed and conquered, and of course there are exceptions, though that's more or less the vibes I get from the majority. But Hozier's songs have this level of genuine fondness and adoration that I find really endearing, and it's something you typically only see from women yearning for other women, if that makes sense. The way he writes about love, it's just pure, raw, unfettered devotion, to be in awe of, in a 'why pray to god when I have you?' sort of way.

Hozier will always mean so much to me. Take Me To Church came out at the beginning of my religious deconstruction and helped me immensely. Now its 10 years later, I'm fully out, completely true to myself, and the most at peace i have ever been. Always have been and will be a huge fan!
