You know I’ve felt a little guilty after my earlier comment in that I don’t want to make it sound like you have to be something special to do those claps. You could absolutely do it too with a little practice. Firstly there are 2 (maybe 3, I can’t remember) different parts going on. Watch and see how the 2 parts bland to give a more complex result. If you focus on one part only you will see it is much more do-able. Concentrate on one of the simplest one to start just keeping in mind where the beats are. 1 2 3 4. Practice makes perfect, just like you can rest assured they did plenty of, and you’ll get it.

Its the same pattern repeated three times with a clap at the end. Its called a clave and its a standard latin syncopation tool.

@@austinfull8941 I already have! I listened to Suzanne's album after I saw her and Hozier live, and I love it. I think 'Best Out of Me' is my favorite song of hers. I totally agree, it's very genuine. you can tell everything she sings is coming from a place of honesty and real emotion. lately I've been listening to the stuff she's done with the band HoneyHoney as well, and I'm enjoying that too.
