Honestly, she probably feels pretty weird. To her, he's not a famous musician she crushes on from a distance. The person who presumably inspired the first album must have been with him as a student, or in his days singing with Anuna, and she must have just thought of him as a regular boyfriend. Sure, she knew he wrote songs, but she probably didn't expect her faults and their sex life to be artistically shared with the whole world someday.

I think that Hozier's songs exist for cozy nights with your beloved human. So, you know, cold winter evening, cherry wine, and aesthetic atmosphere with warm plaid, romantic rhymes and beautiful silence... Yep

Dawn Dow I’m in. I have this drinking game I made up called Destination: Amputation. And the point of the game is that u have to take shots but u dont have hands or arms. So u have to somehow enlist the help of eachother, everyone trying to use their elbows, legs, whatevers left, to help this one person get a shot. Everyone using nubs, it’s great.

LYRICS TO THIS AMAZING SONG: When stunted hand earns place with man by mere monstrosity Alarms are struck and shore is shook by sheer atrocity A cure I know that soothes the soul, does so impossibly A moment's silence when my baby puts the mouth on Me and my babe relax and catch the manic rhapsody All reason flown, as God looks on in abject apathy A squall, and all of me is a prayer in perfect piety A moment's silence when my baby puts the mouth on me [Chorus 1] When the meaning is gone There is clarity And the reason comes on the common tongue of your loving me And it's easy done Our little remedy And the reason comes on the common tongue of your loving me [Verse 2] What yields the need for those who lead us oh so morally Those that would view the same we do through their deformity Who view the deed as power's creed, as pure authority This moment's silence when my baby puts the mouth on me [Chorus 2] Since it all begun To it's reckoning There the reason comes on the common tongue of your loving me Be thankful some know it lovingly There the reason comes in the common tongue of your loving me [Chorus 3] Like a heathen clung to the homily Let the reason come on the common tongue of your loving me So summon on the pearl rosary Let the reason come on the common tongue of your loving me

Weird, almost all of these new songs seem to have his vocals way back in the mix. Even during his shouty bits, the music is still front and center, as oppossed to his older work where his voice was right up front and the music was the accompaniment, this seems directly in opposition of that. STRANGE BOG BOY WHY YOU DO THIS? I MUST KNOW

PRAISE ME IM THE GUY WITH LYRICS [Verse 1] When stunted hammers place with men my mere monstrosity Alarms are struck I'm sure as shit by sheer atrocity A cure I know that soothes the soul, the soul impossibly A moment's silence when my baby puts her mouth on Me and my babe relaxin' catching manic rhapsody All reason flown, as God looks on in abject apathy A swollen Lord that measly a prayer in perfect parody A moment's silence when my baby puts her mouth on me [Chorus 1] When the meaning's gone, there is clarity And the reason comes in the common tongue of your lovin' me And it's easy, darling, I need a remedy And the reason comes in the common tongue of your lovin' me [Verse 2] What yields the need for those who lead us oh so morally Those that would view the sin we do through their deformity Who view the deed as power's creed is pure authority This moment's silence when my baby puts her mouth on me [Chorus 2] Since it's all been gone, to it's reckoning Then the reason comes in the common tongue of your lovin' me Be thankful, Son, now we lovingly Let the reason come to the common tongue of your lovin' me [Chorus 3] Like a heathen clung to the harmony Let the reason come to the common tongue of your lovin' me It's a silent night upon the rosary Let the reason come in the common tongue of your lovin' me
