In this video, an HP 8300 Elite Professional Office PC is transformed into a Gaming PC. To do this, it was necessary to replace the proprietary HP PSU with a more powerful gaming PSU (600W) to power a 6GB GTX 1060 Ti overclock-ata.
A cable for adapting the pinout and voltages was used (in the cable there is a small DC current transformer covered by a black heat-shrink sheath that you can see well in the video) of Chinese manufacture but then appropriately modified with a short circuit jumper , the scheme of which can be seen in the video and which allows you to bypass the BIOS error No. 515 and start the PC without problems.
Without the modification the factory cable works the same but every time you turn on or restart the PC it freezes and you have to force the start with F1.
The music in the video is an excerpt from Donizetti's comic opera
"Don Pasquale" who apparently composed it in just 11 days.
