Nice vid, my chromebook doesn't sleep when it is closed and I did some troubleshooting, it wasn't the power setting and after some further reasearch I think it is the hall sensor board. I don'y know anything about computers but do you know where that is in this one?

You can run a piece of metal around the frame to find the magnet.

@@charliedub1184 if you have a semi strong magnet, you can try running it around the edges to see if it triggers the sleep mode.

I have this laptop, it takes good 5 seconds to power on, you don't need to press the power button on the side, it turns on by itself, try using a 65w charger.

Do you know what might be causing this? I have a customer who’s laptop is having a similar issue where it turns on with battery but not without the battery and with a charger plugged in. Also can’t get an external image. I’m not too familiar with chromebooks.
